The lyrics do speak to our Life, don't they, boy. Thanks for sharing to let others see how D/s can be a rewarding experience.

you know my thoughts about this, too. Now, at least, you won't have 17 (and counting) years of unreconciled emotions. you were brave today, my boy. It took guts, and I'm proud of you.

Excellent. As BDANR stated, I could hear it being spoken as I read it. Very powerful rhythm and imagery. The repetition of "taking your medicine" and what I ascertain as references to overdevelopment of land and loss of cultural identity really drive it home.

Great chapter. I wasn't aiming to get hooked on this story, because it revolves so heavily around sexual escapades, but each time you post a chapter, I click and read. Now here I am, 18 chapters in, and I'm finally going to leave a comment. Your writing skills are exceptional, and you've weaved enough character development and intrigue into the story to keep me coming back for more. This chapter in particular revealed some deeper content, and the connection forming between Oscar and Mr. Price feels strangely genuine. I look forward to seeing where this goes. Cheers - Mac

Your routine sounds like a good variation with emphasis on cardio. It's great to find the sweet spot that works for you. My workout of choice is running, no gym membership anymore. Supplemented with weights, and elliptical/ treadmill at home when weather's bad for a run.

Your use of the prompt went far beyond what I could have done with those keywords. I came back to read it a second time so that I could see past the emotions. you told us so much in this short piece. Very well done, tim.

On Wings - a poem for Remembrance Day 2017
MacGreg commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in On Wings - a poem for Remembrance Day 2017
your words perfectly capture the bravery and loss of those who fought and those who died for the protection of freedom. The Walker Hancock statues come alive in your description. "There they wait with wings wide spread; To bear my soul to the land of the dead." Beautiful poem, my boy. -
If an author writes several stories that present one cohesive series, I think that's great. But it has to be done for that purpose, not just different stories written with the same characters.
-
I've noticed this trend, too. If multiple stories contain the same characters, the author should connect them together as one story, not post them as individual pieces.
-
I agree with Jay, too, that rampant grammatical errors or pure sloppiness will make me skip over - well, everything.

My eyes usually start skimming over lengthy, detailed descriptions, such as landscape, backstory, or even character descriptions. I'm a firm believer in "show, don't tell" in writing, so once a story gets too bogged down with minute details, I either skip to another part or put it down altogether.

Jay, you haven't let anyone down. We know you've been dealing with some stuff lately, including stress at work, and believe me, I can empathize with that. One or more of us is always around, so whenever you feel like dropping by, do. Otherwise, don't worry about it. We all go through cycles in life. Be patient with yourself.

Puppilull, if you learn something from these lessons, then I'm glad for it. Not everything is relevant for everyone, but if certain points can be gleaned and put into practice, then the lessons have meaning. Thanks for reading. Hope you're well. Cheers - Mac

Trust is key to every relationship, D/s or otherwise. Thanks so much for your kind comment, Smoothy, and for reading the lessons. Cheers - Mac

Thank you, dear Def.

I would add all of those, and more, my friend! The list is damn long, and ever-growing. Written down, it would probably make a book in and of itself. And you're right - to witness the transformation of a sub, to see him flourish in your instruction, is an amazing gift. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Thanks, A. The choice of POV was not deliberate - it's just the way it came out on paper, and it felt correct. In a way, I suppose it leaves room for readers to feel a part of the scenario. Since there are no names, just "you" and "me," it's applicable to anyone. Also, it's not intended to read like a typical story. I really appreciate your comments about it, my friend.

Thank you, Parker. Your comment means a lot to me. I hope to touch readers with this, to share knowledge, and with that, also, hopefully, understanding. You caught onto exactly what I was trying to portray here. Thanks for reading. Cheers - Mac

There can be no room for doubt. The groundwork must be set early on, or time is wasted, especially if there's no harmony between Dom and sub. Better to know about it sooner than later. When the harmony is there, it's a beautiful gift. I appreciate that you, and many others here, live that and understand it.

Thank you, Reader. I really appreciate you reading and giving me your feedback. "Compelling" is a great compliment. Cheers - Mac

Yes, the early lessons are important, because they set the tone for the partnership, but they never really stop, do they? Only expand, take different directions. Thanks for your comments, my boy. you have intimate knowledge, and I like to hear your viewpoint.

“Tell me your biggest fear,” I instruct. I’ve stopped us in the park near a line of honeylocust trees. Turned you to face me so that we’re standing less than a foot apart. As I let go of your elbow, I notice a blink of disappointment in your eyes at having been released. Apparently, you prefer I keep a hand on you, which I make mental note of. Don’t worry, I have every intention of handling you more, my boy. Eventually. “I know about your aversion to crowds and loud places,” I continue. “Th

Congratulations, authors!

I thought The Arcana Archives of Carmi'Esis was a story of yours, Solus, not a collection of poetry, so I'm glad you shared the link to this in DIC, or else I might not have seen it. You've captured the root qualities of D/s well in this poem. Your openness to the Lifestyle, and to learning and understanding the dynamics, means a great deal to many of us who frequently feel censured. Our subs will benefit from this kind of boost, so thank you for posting and sharing it. Cheers - Mac
