Could Theo sense Araziah and that’s why he left? Araziah and Torsten would just feel wrong. Torsten is more of a parent to Araziah and I don’t think Torsten could see it any different. I could see how the constant voices could drive the members of the conclave to be slightly insane. I hope that things do work out for Theo and Torsten because they seem good together. How do we explain the wild card of Lucy? Does she just have a really strong will or does she have a secret that helps. Thanks and looking forward to more.

Brett has matured so much in this book. Their little talk in the car and at the cemetery showed this. Finding out about his own mask of "Reilly" was interesting, and explained his coping mechanism. I agree with some other comments, What he hell is Billy thinking by even bringing up Brett's father?????? Unless he was going to mention it and then chickened out. The trouble is his little secret isn't so secret anymore. He told both Dustin and his mother that he knows who Brett's daddy is. I hope those revelations don't come back to bite him in the ass..... I had Bobby Rush penciled in for "La Resistance" so he is not a surprise. I also have Pat Winston on the short list, if she can drag herself out of her previously mentioned glass closet.

For as often as I have said that Brett and Billy are the worst kept secret in Denora, I wish to recant that statement and move them to Number 2. The number one worst kept secret in town has to be Pat and Susan. I think that is why Billy went off on her in school and has done it in the past. He is Ms. Winston and has been using her as his roll model. Both have been living in the same glass closet, but she has been in there for 25 years. Both of them seem scared how everyone will react if their secret is known, But everyone knows their secret....... Now that Billy is Out, maybe he can drag Pat out of that closet. I can totally understand Billy's anger towards her trying to use him to live the life she thinks she can't. Maybe Brett needs to go and have a talk with her, to show her that being inside a glass closet is not for the best.

My head is now spinning with the possibilities from these revelations.... Are these real memories, or implanted by the aliens to control him?? How or why is the Captain so sure that Kohen isn't going to hurt anyone?? And I have an inkling that there is something "up" with the rest of the prisoners that were released from the space station. No i don't, but Jen does have her own secrets and knows that Billy Knows them. She has also threatened to Keep the B's apart to keep her own secrets too.

I know I have said this comment before in his story but..............WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Paula, What the Fuck woman!!!!! that is your son, Your child and you just willingly admitted by telling him you wouldn't cover his diabetic supplies unless he kept pretending to be straight that you would let him die!!! It could conceivably be a death sentence if Billy doesn't get his insulin and she was willing to do it instead of having him live in his "life of sin." I hope Dr. Rielly will let him live there and cover his supplies until he gets a job. And the hypocrisy of Pastor Carl, pretending that he didn't know why Billy would be upset, then saying that Billy's illness was caused by God because of Billy's sins. I will also agree with others and say that this did seem like a set-up between Paula and Carl. But we may be off base here.

Great chapter. Everything settling down nicely. Got a bit misty eyed when Paddy made his introductions to his new grandparents. Will and Liam rescued him and then he introduced Adam as dad. Kohen just keeps getting information that leaves him reeling. To find out your brain has been tampered with, and you may possess super human strength and speed. At least he got out some of the demons from the start of his ordeal, he even mentioned his parents. The Captain didn't mention the mental state of the other prisoners released, Have their brains been destroyed and is Kohen somehow special because even after the surgeries he is still self aware??
