There, I fixed it for you. 🤞 I was a little suspicious about Zach's call in the beginning, but I'm thinking he's telling the truth. I do hope that he was able to record everything. You know it's bad when your plan to kill your son goes up in smoke because you're broke and can't afford it anymore. I'm sure that Curtis is beyond majorly pissed off. I can't wait to see what the expert battle tactician JP comes up with. Another great chapter Mark!

Lucas is going to need to make the first move because Jubal won't. He's too afraid of losing what friendship they've formed and it almost seems like Jubal has been down this path before, perhaps with Vincent. The two of them work so well together and play off each others strengths and weaknesses. They really are a good compliment. Really. The post was that opaque. Besides, some folks in here like their drink. A lot. So anything is possible. Rumor has it that an author got a little tipsy and even posed the next chapter in her story 24 hours after publishing the then current one. I believe Screwball whisky was involved, but I might be mistaken about the flavor.
