**SNEAK PEEK!** The Promise
MichaelS36 replied to Mikiesboy's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Love it. Want more, and soon! -
I've come back to these several times. @MacGreg is correct, you are remarkable. This week, you wrote that amazing poem, your ballad, seven other poems, you've worked on your main project. You gone to work, looked after Me and dealt with some very down days, all this week. You are strong, resilient - remarkable. This week's poems are each your voice, each part of you...they too are remarkable. I'm proud of you, boy.
-
Indeed, he is.
-
What is it about this draws me back, over and over?
-
Glad you enjoyed...it's interesting to watch him.
-
Damn boy! You know I sit and watch. ..see you writing, mumbling, grousing 'the end isn't right' and I know you write, and fiddle, and cut, and rewrite some more. This was so well done. Never stop challenging yourself! What a treasure!

Awesome, as someone said! Excellent work!

Let us hope she's found peace, and freedom from her pain. Lovely poem, tim.

You? Any kind of useless doesn't apply. I'd like to see a list of those words that hold you hostage. Write down five, then five sentences. ..then see where that takes you. tim wrote a wonderful monologue piece rather that way. Write a lesson, or a blog...tell me all about business law! Whatever, just write. Poem was very good btw.

I come back because I watch you suffer and question your talent, so much lately. I can just tell you this and will, but I want to write it also. So you know it's not just words. You may not weave words like some others, but you are not they. tim, you are a talented, beautiful soul, you are bright, and funny and you have your own eye, like any photographer. AC says it so well above. you see things in your own, honest way, and you tell us about it, about how you feel, and often that we should look at little harder, too. Trust in your own voice, your own talent, and write your own stories and poetry. M xo

No, last year was not a happy time. Write when you feel to, tim ... it doesn't matter
-
A good week my boy ... don't pressure yourself and I'm sure you will meet your goal. Partial to April 4th and 5th, and to Ghosts. xo
-
tim, I know you miss him. I do too, but I know what you felt for him. I'd expect nothing less from you, my boy. Pine cones...remember that lady who stopped to watch him play? Him tossing it in the air and racing after it? She said, "That's just made my day." That I won't forget. xo

He was a great little thing. 17lbs of attitude that dog. But he adored tim, it was love at first sight. He drove me crazy when he was a puppy (thanks Mom). He was miniature poodle size and was tiny enough to get under the sofa as a pup, which was very close to the floor...and he'd race around...I wanted to give him back! It was difficult at the end, it happened so quickly and it was very hard on tim.

No problem. .. Seriously these are wonderful things. Writing good poetry is hard, but this way? It floors me what you two do, and I'm not forgetting the one with Freerider. -
Talented pair...

Damn, you two write beautifully. If you're this good without knowing what the other is doing ... maybe you should collaborate and work together. Stunning. -
Mmmm, boys in collars. I'll remind mine to come and read your wonderful poem! Hope you are well, WolfM.

TC2 - Chapter 1: Meeting Each Other
MichaelS36 commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 1: Meeting Each Other
Very nice, A! Brilliant job. Dad's a bit too lenient in my book, but I'm sure it will all work out. But it's a nice story, not over done, fells very realistic to me. I hope you'll try some other genres, outside of your norms. -

The Evidence Room - a haibun
MichaelS36 commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in The Evidence Room - a haibun
I was with tim this day. I knew he wanted to be alone, but in that room, even with others near, you are alone. Facing the door from the victims and the guards sides, the hatch in the wall, they were hard to look at, and the gas column. Only one but in the real room, there were four. And had to be warm over 80f in there so the gas would work efficiently. The thought and planning that went into these chambers, and after, the elevator to move the bodies to the incinerators, dear God. And they knew the ones that drew them, they couldn't not. See it if you have the opportunity, but be prepared to be overwhelmed. Have a hand to hold when you leave. tim this piece is among your best. you did not ignore their pleas to be heard. xo -

tim has always written poetry, well as long as I've known him. I know how important it is to him. tim is a very caring man, sometimes too much and it shows in his poetry. He writes about social issues, Christmas, Remembrance Day and Thanksgiving, depression, love, joy and nature ... you name it and he writes about it. he writes about me as well and us. He has a poetic soul, a beautiful voice and I hope you'll choose to read some of his work.
