I am speechless in the face of such abuse….even though he was seven, his parents did him a favor exiting stage left from his life; I just can’t imagine why Loren was ignored over his identical twin brother. Was Lars born first? Whatever happened to Lars? In a previous post I said that you would break our hearts with Loren’s backstory-mission accomplished. 💔 Jay is the salve Loren needs and deserves for his heart to heal as best it can ❤️‍🩹 On a brighter note, I did like how you juxtaposed Loren being introduced to Jay’s committee from “Boss Nanny”, 👍 lol. On a horny note, it’s gonna be on and poppin’ when that emotional chastity belt comes off, 🍆🍆🌶

What a great chapter, Mrsgnomie; There is so much to unpack. “Boss Nanny” gave me the impression that Loren was just a social influencer via making fancy drinks….I had no idea that Loren was a brand, virtually all but his sex life is marketable content yet it’s not a frivolous pursuit for him; Something tells me this enterprise he started with his friends (who are clearly his family) is what saved him from the obviously troubled childhood he had. “Jay doesn’t get it. The holidays are joyous for him.”…. “I pull his face closer so he can see me. “It’s triggering for me, okay?” Everything, from Loren’s physique, to all the platforms he markets off of is clearly a Phoenix rising from the ashes of traumatic despair. His brand and his life thus far have been a shield to protect him, his “stratego” if you will and to this point it has worked for him. Loren was unapologetically who he is….until Jay. Jay makes Loren want things that he has dismissed as possibilities for his future-not the white picket fence, the dog & the 2.5 kids, Loren ruled out love….until Jay. Now he’s walking down a path he’s never navigated before, which he might welcome as a challenge normally; This time, however, Loren isn’t in control. He wants Jay in spite of himself & the lack of that control opens him up to his deepest fears and insecurities. Loren has been hurt and hurt very badly, he cannot endure another emotional devastation, which Jay is capable of bringing to him (though Jay would cut off a limb before he intentionally hurts Loren) “Of course,” he whispers. “You’ll tell me when and you’ll tell me how. You’ll tell me everything I need to know when you’re ready. I want a lot of things with you but I never want you to feel uncomfortable, okay?” Jay may be the only man who can truly make Loren happy, if Loren gets out of the way, lol. That fear of being hurt again though, of not being enough, will have him cut off his nose to spite his face. I haven’t even touched their sex (or sexless? Lol) shenanigans but I think I’ve said a lot already. Something tells me you are going to break our hearts when you reveal Loren’s past. Did I say this was a really good chapter? 😍

Keep dangling that carrot Jay. 🥕 I like Loren the businessman.

And the fact that Jay can influence Loren to change his business model in any way already speaks to how much Jay means to him.

Jay and Loren’s conversations remind me of screwball comedies in the 30’s & 40’s, although they never would have had this type of sexual chemistry between two guys back then (darn Hayes code and audiences weren’t ready for this then). I wonder if Loren will ever reveal what has made him the way he is about relationships….it’s not just his celebrity status: From Chapter 1: I don’t know what he thinks he knows about us getting married or whatever, but I know what I know. Jay is light. He’s everything that is good and ideal in this world. He’s a soft breeze on a warm summer night. He’s big-family-holidaysand well-meaning-relativeswith all their questions and their caring. He's a suburban home and two-point-five kids kinda guy. He’s block parties with matching barbeque aprons and pool parties with matching swim shorts. And there is nothing in me that wants to touch that life with a ten-foot pole.

Jay has Loren’s number & is keeping him on his toes!! Love it❣️❣️ Loren would get bored with the obvious, he expects slavish devotion from Jay’s clear interest but Jay is playing for keeps so he’s playing the long game. Loren plays games but there is a protective aspect to it: he’s been hurt very badly. Their banter is top notch and it only whets each other’s interest more….speaking of “wet”-I hope Jay has a Sven around to keep his “peter” “meyered” while he & Jay do this dance.

So does Loren. I think he likes mind games but didn’t realize Jay can put him in his place; That’s why he’s perfect for him.

Love that you’re giving the backstory of Jay & Loren and I love that Jay has the upper hand now and again. It will be interesting to see “Boss Nanny” events that relate to their relationship dovetail within this story. You’ve a very masterful, creative hand in the crafting of your love stories, they are always an enjoyable read.

I’m torn between an angry & sad emoji. 💔 As sad as it would’ve been, throwing Reilly out would have been enough, if his father and brother’s disgust was just about Reilly….They tortured and left him for dead because he was a “failed” reflection of them and their narcissistic, little dick, quick cumming, insecure, incompetent, small minded selves (can you guess that I don’t think much of them? Lol). I truly hope you have many bad things in store for these fuckers. Good story, lol!!

Seeing Lambda makes me wonder if Omega Mu will make an appearance (I’m dating myself, with my “Revenge of the Nerds” reference, lol)

I love Reilly and Kellan’s ease with each other, they are true BFF’s & brothers; their exit strategy was sadly impressive-each acted as the cog in a well oiled machine, the sad aspect is from the fact they’ve clearly done that many times before, (this being # 6, if I recall). Are Reilly’s sore knees a “memento” from his father & brother’s reaction to his homosexuality? Or could they & his other physical issues be because he’s a Kappa? I feel like all his physical issues would resolve themselves if he shifted regularly. I hope Sebastian truly accepts his mate…. ‘it’s nice to know Kellan & his dad will be there for Reilly no matter what.

I don’t know how I’ve missed this story from you….while I needed no further inducement to read, the end of the chapter hooked me but good: ”Reilly shrugged, then as Kellan looked on, the soft feminine features shifted slightly and became more angular. Soft curves morphed into sinuous muscle. The narrow shoulders widened slightly and curvy hips narrowed until they were more in line with the waist. Ice blue eyes met the amused green ones. “OK Kells, time to drop this damn charade. No more girly shit. I finally get to live as a guy again. Now what?" The plus side of discovering this late is having 15 chapters to read all at once. “Rubbing my hands together”, lol.

I remember your trepidation with this subject matter….I also remember the in depth and at times spirited, analysis brought forth in the comments; I fondly recall the interaction on this story & dare say this may have evoked some of the most spirited commentary of all your stories. (Just thinking the name Kevin pisses me off, lol!!) I hope you look back on this with great pride Gary, this was an excellent journey. All the best to you in 2022.
