Tho Nate was douchy before love grew him up, there are no real bad guys here. Each person is entitled to the position they took; It will be a deeply emotional journey for Tad, Chris and Nate. (Your readers, as well) The budding couple of Stanley and Kent, along with Markus’ situation will be a distraction but knowing you, there are threads that tie them all together somehow.

In playing catch up with this story, I’m seeing that Nate has met his match in Tad and maybe even more than he bargained for. I’m extremely curious to see what choice Tad made that Christopher disagreed with enough to walk away from the man he loves, as well as what Nate’s reaction will be to the same thing-Will Nate get close enough to Tad to warrant finding out? Christopher seems like a really nice guy, I don’t think I would’ve been so okay with my ex’s new whatever checking me out. Another well crafted mystery unfolding.

So Raven and Julian will be involved in Desmond’s escapade. That increases the chance they will run into Sam and Blair, won’t it? 🤔

Or on a more non violent bend, Desmond must be mindful of the butterfly effect if he enters dreams of other people’s pasts; As to alter the past (no matter how painful) would alter the future. Ms. Katya, I thank you very much for this world you’ve created. While I enjoy meeting all the inhabitants, the family of Desmond, Gabriel and Sam are favorites on mine, with Katrena, Jett and Damien/monkey a verrrry close second. (Tho I am glad that Julian found a mate)? Lol. While I know there may be twists and turns, I will always hope for great love and HEA’s for them.

Did Julian stop her before she hurt Raven? Desmond and Julian are a comedy act (black comedy but comedic, nonetheless): “I am not your tour guide,” he nodded when the blond looked at him with some sort of expectation. “Right,” Salamander sighed and got out of the car,..” “Goddammit,” the blond gritted his teeth darkly. “How can you be so damn heavy when you look so skinny?” Now the Sam and Blair issue remains.

In the old west, they would duel at the O K Corral at noon. In the new, alternate world, it’s the Rock Garden at 21:00 (aka 9:00 p.m.) Only one side is expected to walk away from a duel, wonder how long that’ll be if Julian is victorious yet doesn’t heed the warning to leave after he’s done. (Would he leave?) Guess the next chapter will tell....

Preconceptions encompass physical and mental acuity, as well as racial and socioeconomic backgrounds. We have to be our own (and especially our children’s) advocates; It is not hypochondria to insist something is wrong. I am glad this based on a real event ended with a definitive diagnosis and not permanent damage or death. Medicine, like justice, should have no prejudice. Thank you for sharing.

You write good sex!! Lol!! Hell hath no fury like an avenging lover (especially one with easy access to fire) but Daniel is right: “Hatred is an emotion that weakens him because he is not in control of himself;” I don’t know what Blair and Daniel intend to do, but I must say Julian has it coming. Going out on a limb, would an apology from Julian help Sam? 🤞 It’s a testament to your ability to invest your readers into your characters that I have mixed feelings about Julian getting the punishment he so richly deserves.

What a ruthless greedy, selfish, crazy ass bitch. I always wonder when people who direct themselves to bad and self serving means don’t realize they could probably achieve equal success if they turned their tasks toward good, selfless endeavors. It is a choice. They probably feel the good route requires too much work.

Talk about full circle!!!! When I saw the name “Desmond”, I said “would Katya name another character that?” (thinking you would throw us off or something). Even his way with those stupid ass guards didn’t clue me in; It was “Open up, Rayhe...” that confirmed, shocked and delighted me. I’m glad to see the lovebirds back and see how Julian reacts to the one who took his first mate saving his second, that is if he realizes they saved Raven and had no part in his kidnapping.

The addiction part made me sad, Crazy bitch Magda made me mad. I hope Julian can find something to counteract Raven’s physical dependency on the dirty water, that or I know he will move heaven, earth and hell to supply Raven. ☹️

No pity for Tobias at all. Stupid fucker shouldn’t have tried to mess with a pain master like Julian if he was afraid of pain; Not good recon on his part. Magda, Magda, Magda....It will be an interesting battle between she and Julian, I’m just sorry Raven had to experience any pain, both physical and emotional, since he considered Magda a friend, his only one, if I remember.

Ooookay. Julian is willing to curb his vices because it bothers his mate....yep, that’s love (Tho to be honest, he needed to discipline the indulgence of his excesses, lol). Julian knows now his (incestuous) niece and nephew were responsible for part of the hiring, who wants the rock still needs to be determined (It was never determined who the barista called in the coffee shop that night she saw Raven and Julian together). I’m glad Julian found his mate.

That was actually sweet!! They acted like any other couple, which when you think about it, they are. Everyone is carrying around some type of baggage by the time you’re in your 30’s, you just have to meet up with the person willing to handle yours, hopefully it’s the same person who’s caca you’re willing to handle. I have an air of sad anticipation, that this is the calm before the storm.
