I'll tip according to service. If it was average it'll be 15%. Excellent service gets 20%. Crappy service depending on how bad it was will get maybe 10%. Horrible service- I'll walk out if we haven't ordered anything or they'll get nothing and possibly a Karen moment when I'll let the manager know why I'm not leaving a tip. My one exception to the 20% is when we go to our usual Cafe for breakfast. Our check is about $25. I'll leave a $15 tip for our regular server because we've been going there for at least 10 years and she take care of us. Our server was always so patient with my mom, even when her dementia had progressed to the point where you couldn't really understand what she was saying.

Bread day...yay! I've got meat sauce simmering in the crockpot. I'll make lasagna this afternoon. A coworker is getting married out at the beach tonight. It's going to be hot AF but at least the reception is at our clubhouse. I wish I could wear sandals but that's not an option with the new brace. I hope everyone has a good day!

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'll be the first to admit that I was out of my element in regards to the non-binary aspect. I use the anthologies to try new things as I feel in the long run it helps me to learn an hone my skills. I appreciate your feedback.

Life has given you a potato. What are you going to do with it? Chuck it at the idiot drivers who have made being on the road a lesson in road rage self-control. Which Gay Authors story are you reading currently? W-A-R by @Mikiesboy What singular superpower would you love to possess? I'd settle for anything that alleviates constant pain... maybe something like Plasticman... enough flexibility that moving wouldn't hurt and stupid tendons can't get inflamed. Invisibility would be fun too... no one can find you. Lol. -
I have done my part to partake in National Donut Day. I bought a dozen for my staff. Hooray for donuts! Chocolate ice cream will have to wait until after work. Have a great day everyone!

That's awesome Chris! Good luck!

I'm good with goat cheese, especially the cranberry or honey versions that Aldi has.

Cheese.... yaaaaaassssssssssss!! I hope everyone's day goes better than mine. As soon as I got to work my maintenance guy tells me he hit the phone/internet line. They didn't bury it deep enough. It was only about 2 inches down. Good grief! At least they'll be able to come out within a couple of hours to fix it. Happy cheesing!

That was an extremely interesting article. My dad owned a service station for over 20 years. After he died we found out he had chronic lymphocytic leukemia and found out years earlier and never told anyone. I've always wondered if exposure to leaded gasoline contributed to it. When my younger son was about a year and a half old he had an elevated lead level. We never found the cause but his pediatrician monitored it for a while and it eventually dropped to normal levels. Studies have shown that even small increases can have adverse effects. He grew up with learning issues and now has mental health issues that are probably exacerbated by the increased lead. Clair Patterson should be hailed as a hero. I hope everyone has a good day! (Take a nap tim!)

I'm here... training a new pack of Belgian Malinois puppies as guard dogs.

It's not hard to fit in. Quiet works, boisterous is fine, food speak is fluent, and craziness is commonplace. So welcome aboard!

Oh, the places you'll go! Have a great day everyone!

@Mikiesboy.... get your flabby butt down here and bring the bread. 🤣

I've got my shepherds pie going. You're right.. the meat mixture looks gross, but it smells good. Lol. Just have to wait for the onions to pickle... I'll add those to the veggie layer. I should have done those first. Have a great day everyone!

I've contemplated using our "good stuff". The problem is I have too much of it. Not only do I have the stuff we got for our wedding but I have my mom's 16 piece place settings and stuff that goes with it. I guess if I didn't want to load the dishwasher or hand wash dishes for a couple of weeks I'd have enough to do so but that would be mighty gross.

Try 1 part Dawn dish detergent and 2 parts vinegar in a spray bottle. Let sit for a few minutes and then mop.

Unfortunately situations like this are all too common. It's too bad the poor horse is the one who has to suffer stress. The owner will be lucky to ever get the horse to load nicely in the future. People can be such idiots. Update on the ankle... not any better, but not worse either. The brace is being ordered today (once I fork over $600😯😖) so hopefully relief is only a few weeks away. I've given up on getting any sort of prescription painkillers... our medical system is too messed up. I've been trying (3 doctors) for over a month.... nothing. Yet I can take my dogs to the vet and get tramadol in a heartbeat. Sigh. I hope everyone has a good day! Enjoy your walk @Mikiesboy... move that butt!! Lol

If there's one thing I hate it's getting all sweaty. I wouldn't mind working out if not for this unfortunate occurrence lol. Be thankful he's not poking your bony butt with a walking stick..🤣🤣🤣 I wouldn't put it past him.

What is it with the men getting all hot and sweaty today?
-
I didn't know this when I decided to make some garlic parmesan bread in the breadmaker.. lol

I wouldn't go so far as saying evil... snarky as hell wielding a sarcastic whip is more like it. Oh look... 1st on 2!

Lately I've lost all trust in my body... it's been a traitorous b!+€#. But I'm learning to move past what I can't change and embrace what I can. This too shall pass. Have a good weekend everyone!
