Thank you for a job well done.. and for leaving it wide open for future Jaon tales (what? It's better than Lamie) 😁

    April 14 to 20

Nicely done tim. So.. 14 & 15 Great imagery on both of these. 16..I've been stuck in an elevator.. granted it was 1986 and a bunch of us on our high school trip to Europe decided it was perfectly fine to cram 11 of us in an elevator meant for a max capacity of 5 or 6. I think we scarred the hotel staff for life when they pried open the doors in between floors and we all crawled out like it was a clown car. 17. It's a good thing he's gone. You owe him nothing. He's not worth wasting emotions on. 18 & 19 More great imagery. 20. xoxo, my friend Thanks for these, tim.

    The End

Thank you @lawfulneutralmage for a wonderfully entertaining story. Yes, I'm on board with wanting to see more of Jamie's adventures. I still think Mike should know about the whole supernatural abilities thing and maybe manifest some of his own. The possibilities are endless for a future series. Great job!

    Into the Past

    Thanks Chris!
  10. Florida has always had a large homeless population. Some areas are worse than others. Surprisingly, though it's not as bad as one would think considering our climate. I know our west coast.. California, Oregon and Washington have huge issues. I recently read that California's homeless population increased to the point where that state alone accounts for almost 30% of the total homeless across the US. Our government will spend billions of dollars on foreign aid before attempting to fix the myriad of problems right in our own backyard. It's sad. As a property manager, I have no choice but to call the Sheriff when we have homeless on our property. Most of the time they move on, but occasionally we do have to trespass someone. It's unfortunate but necessary considering the nature of our business. There is no clear-cut solution if our government insists on fixing the rest of the world before focus on what really should matter. You bring up such a valid point, tim when you suggest doing something.. even if it's as simple as donating directly to a local shelter.

Probably not too often, but I'm sure there is some more prose in my noggin that will get written down. Thanks for opening my eyes. xoxo

    Into the Past

Into the Past Salt on the breezy wind around us I feel the sand between my toes and listen to the waves crashing on the shore Sweat drips from my brow as I stand and cheer as the air is ripped apart by the crack of a bat connecting hard Sunny days stretch out endlessly as my youth remains blissfully ignorant of the ravages of time Frosty mornings greet me as the school bell beckons Inside we learn to read and count as our fading daydreams drift away Fie
  16. Just some fleeting thoughts.
  17. Happy Spring weather to you too... April showers bring May flowers and all that... I'm good with bats as long as they stay flying around outside. They eat my most-hated nemesis... mosquitoes. As for appointments.. I'm scheduled for an MRI tomorrow. I've ordered crutches in anticipation of being placed on complete rest... aka.. no weight bearing for 6-8 weeks. Hopefully the MRI doesn't show anything worse than severe tendinitis or a small tear. Have a good day everyone!
  18. Both mine are 6 footers.. the older is right at 6 feet.. the younger is about 6'2". My tallest brother topped out around 6'4". He was 6' by the time he was 12..lol
  19. Anyone over six feet is big (tall... same thing in my book). I grew up in a family of over six-footers. All of my five foot seven inch height got me the title of shorty in my family. Lol Also.. you know I'm not like most people.
  20. You're 6 foot forever... What did you think I meant? 🤭🤣
  21. Stubborn, huh?
  22. Keep up, big guy... Keep up.
  23. Congrats! New opportunities are always exciting!
  24. I threw them out!!!!! (And they were the smaller size... just stuff I never used regularly) 😉😆
