Was just talking about this and @kbois pointed me to this blog (was out of town all weekend so I missed it). This is really on point for me right now as I'm re-reading my current story, trying to clean it up and 'feel' out the scenes more. Perfect post for me. Thanks.

I knew it would be fast but I thought they'd at least get ONE night to settle in. But nope! It makes you wonder if something is going on behind the scenes that they feel the need to kidnap so quickly. Feels rushed.

Back from the mountain. The trip was awesome and terrible wrapped in one. My oldest had a great time. He's a natural on the board. My youngest has a knack for ruining trips. This one was no different. My brother and SIL drove an hour to pick him up so we could actually enjoy ourselves. Later that night, he did the same thing while cosmic tubing. I love experience's, I would spend all my money letting my kids try everything under the sun. It's so hard to have a kid who gets excited and pumped but ultimately makes it miserable for everyone. We're planning a trip to Disney World next year and I'm seriously second guessing it. Seems like a lot of money for something that will end in tears for everyone involved lol. WHY ARE KIDS SO DIFFICULT?

I’m torn. You make me want to read it but I know it will be a personal struggle for me, one I will not recover from quickly. I have it queued up but it might be a while before I pull the trigger. Thank you for covering such a broad range of books.

Oh my! I missed this last week. It totally slipped by. I only caught it because I’d the weekly wrap up. ill have to come back to this lesson a few times. Good stuff here

We won’t be doing anything crazy, just teaching the kids basics. I’m actually anxious about not writing all weekend!

I can vividly see/hear the dramatic cries of the young pups. When I was a kinder, the doctors office had open clinic for vaccinations. When it was my turn, I screamed so load and so long that when we went back to the lobby, every kid was staring wide eyed. Turns out everyone heard it. I oops. i don’t think things went easy after that…

Things are moving. Interesting plan with Wayne, Sandi, and Elijah… nothing could go wrong with trying to mask two wolves and a shape shifter... I have visions of Harry Potter when the potion starts wearing off. Yikes.

Hey now! Just because you live there doesn't mean everyone hates Disney World. We're going there next January! Granted, we probably are not visiting It's A Small World...but still

I mean, not really lol. Between NCIS - Miami and Dexter and the iguanas and pythons, I think I'll stay here on the Oregon coast. It's pretty peaceful. Cost of living is a bit high but I'll take it. I just want to add that I think Iguanas are so cool, but they're not a pest here. You know what they say; one man's iguana is another man's mortal enemy.
