This is breaking point for Mat, he needs help but where are all of the responsible adults and what are doing?

False guilt, false shame and the false belief of victim that they can't do anything to stop it is bad enough. When it starts to change a persons belief in them selves then it can be dangerous and create the dangerous thoughts that Mat had thinking about stabbing Dallas, that is one of many good reasons why teachers in school and parents need to keep a close watch on those who may be subjected to bullying, but more importantly to try to put a stop to the bullying in the first place.

You have described the angst of the victim well and created the opportunity for empathy for fellow a victim.

You don't really know what bullying is unless you experience it, reading this it gives you some idea of what goes through the mind of the victim and the lengths that some will go to to end it. This is a well written story from the victims point of view, read it and hopefully you too will take a stand against bullying. A definite must read.

A great start to this new episode in the lives of the Devlin-Major clan. I enjoyed the first story, with a start like this i think I'm going to enjoy this too. I'm looking forward to reading the future developments for this family.

WOW, BRILLIANT, these are just two of many words that can describe this story. This story includes many of the obstacles that we could all face in life but has an overall theme of love, love for a partner, children and not forgetting the all important pooch, but also love for all of the important people around them which includes everyone from the lowest of the staff to the highest, they are all as important as each other. At the same time this story draws you in and makes you believe you are there, I almost feel as though i've been to South Africa that is how good this is. My recommendation is, read and enjoy you won't regret it.

A beautiful heartwarming story with enough detail to keep you interested, but not too much to bog you down. I loved it and I'm sure others will too.

This is great for Trey and Dallas but I'm concerned for when the other boot drops, you know what I mean don't you. Fingers crossed for these love struck boys. 🤞

Now this is where my schoolboy crushes and this story differ, Trey has more balls than me I was never able to do that with my crushes so all credit to the story writer for creating a boy with guts, I only ever dreamed of being that ballsy. Now where is the next chapter.

I'm really liking this story, possibly because it does bring back some good boyhood memories, but mainly because it's so well written.

Nicely written, it had me thinking back to some of my school days. Unfortunately though I couldn't play any sports so I never saw the inside of the changing rooms never mind the showers. But hey I still had my schoolboy crushes lol.

It was comfortably warm inside, the type of comfortable warmth that makes your cheeks tingle when you go in from the cold. That is if you enter. The sensation to the nose was heavenly. The smells were mouth-watering if you could smell them. The first you would notice is the aroma of freshly brewed coffee mixed with freshly baked bread and pastries. As you go further, you will meet the heady mixed smell of a working kitchen preparing meals for hungry stomachs. That is if you enter.

Karma is seen as a powerful thing, we often hear how this affects bad people and bad events. But did you know that karma can also come to those who are good people? Good karma can be more powerful and can come in surprising ways. Please note that this story has been revised and re-edited to improve the reader's experience. It is a sad and heart wrenching story with a great uplift at the end. I can say from experience that when you see the smiles on the faces who thought that no one cared and the enjoyment they have when they realise that someone cares is payment in full and then some for that single act of kindness. i may not be able to do what I used to but I will be working again this Christmas, serving Christmas lunch to those who deserve a good Christmas experience as much as the rest of us do. Merry Christmas to all and if you can please drop off a gift at your local shelter to help bring a little joy.

A really good realistic story in it's own right, at the time that I read it I know there is a follow-up which is as good as this one, so I say double your enjoyment and read both one after the other you will not regret it.

Thank you for a truly believable and realistic story, I've thoroughly enjoyed reading about Craig and James. In fact it would be good read more from time to time, hint, hint, nudge , nudge. lol

I have to agree with @drsawzall, we may be close to the end of this story but could it also closer to the beginning of a further story? I hope so it's too good a story to end so soon.

I'm not surprised to hear that but I hope that what James has with Craig is more important to him. Craig and James appear to have a developed a deeper connection, Craig values that I hope that James does too.

I'd say report Greg and to hell with it but the chances are that all it would achieve a black mark against Craig. Greg will get his promotion before being found out for what he is but by then Craig will be gone, hopefully with a nice fat redundancy check. Is Archie trying to make a move on James? If he is either Craig or James needs to put him in his place but that could be risky in a small village community.

Craig definitely shows signs of being able to settle into the country lifestyle and the locals look like they accept him, now he just needs to see that and take the final step. Although I sense that Archie could be a bit of problem.
