You can not leave us hanging like this, I hope that you have the next chapter ready! I know what I'm hoping for but now I have to wait. I'd hate you for this but your too good an author and you have me hooked and I really admire you and your writing skills.

I cannot believe that this story, that was published back in 2010, hasn't received any reviews!! Well I'm going to put that right. This is a wonderful story of a young man and an older youth finding each other when for different reasons their lives were missing that special something. An initial kindness and understanding soon flourishes and becomes love, not any old kind of love but that special kind that bonds two people together for life and enriches their lives in the way only true love does. The friendships they make on the way become fast friendships that last. A very uplifting story that deserves to be read and enjoyed by all.

A sad but yet sweet snippet of life after loss. Eloquent and beautifully written in a way that makes you think and realise that life still goes on, even when we don't realise it at the time. One that I will come back to read again.

I've really enjoyed reading this story, but more than that I have enjoyed reading the series and this is the final part. The love, acceptance and understanding that has been portrayed has left me feeling as though I have been a part of it. I whole heartedly agree with and endorse the previous reviews and recommend the series/saga be read by all. I wish there was more but like all good things it has come to its natural end. This is a quality story from an author of quality.

Expertly and sensitively written, conveying the mood of the day and the feelings of all who attended the solemn event. This was hard to read and we all appreciate how difficult it must have been to write. You have not only met but also exceeded the challenges that you have set yourself to maintain the storyline. Thank you, we are all looking forward to the future chapters where we all hope for better times for the family.

From watching films we all think that the sequel is never as good as the original first story, well forget that, this sequel is as good as the first part and each enhances the other. My recommendation is read and enjoy this not just good is excellent.

This is so well written and engaging that once I started reading I couldn't stop and had to read it all in one day. A must read for all and have the tissues handy unless you have a heart of steel.

Drama and excitement with a bit of romance, not to forget the faithful pooch what more can you ask for. This is a great short story that has the possibility of a follow-up, although it doesn't really need it. I enjoyed it and recommend others to read and enjoy too.

The sweet innocence of youth, if only we could all turn back time to experience that again. Well we can all dream, lol.

This is the second time that I've read this story and it's still as good a read as the first time. My own mum and dad were foster parents and this brings back some good cherished memories. would I recommend this story? Definitely.

A very emotional and moving story that tells us of Scott's painful journey of losing his husband and feeling that his life is over, then discovering that he can move on and love again. The guilt he feels is natural and understandable, it is a part of his grieving process. Noah is the man who brings love back into Scott's life and supports him when he experiences the 'dark days'. Noah has an ally in form of his son Zach, This brings love of a different form and brings purpose to Scott's life in the way that only a little boy can. Reading this story brings tears of sadness and tears of joy so keep the tissues handy and enjoy this very well written story. This is one the most moving stories that I have read and I recommend everyone to read it.

This is a great story about Rhyder Markey finding his way in life, experiencing love and finding a boyfriend, but it's about more than that. It's also about the bond and connection, dare I call it love? between a man and his horse. I've loved reading it and will read it again, a recommended read.

A very different novel and unique take on Christmas stories. Though it's not earth shattering it is a pleasant and enjoyable read, definitely one to come back to at Christmas.

Brilliantly well written unique story about coming out from the perspective of the 'flawed' best friend, it shows the way society shapes how we think. Heartwarming and tearjerking in parts, annoying and infuriating in others showing how imperfect we all are. A recommended read if ever there was one.

This is a great 'coming out' story, but it's also more than that. It's about young man, Greg, coming to terms with and feeling comfortable with himself. An added bonus is that he also finds himself a boyfriend when he wasn't even looking for it. I enjoyed reading this story and I'm sure others will too, so yes it's a recommended read. I'm surprised that this story hasn't received a review before now.

Mistakes, mistakes and more mistakes this story is full of them. But don't be mistaken none of them are the authors, @Graeme has written a brilliantly different story. All of the mistakes are made by the skilfully created characters in this story, most are made by the main characters Drew and Rick. The end is no mistake as the characters realise this and get everything straight in more than one sense of the word. I loved the story and found some humour in it and would love read a follow-up to it. This is a recommended read.

@Mawgrim that's a valid point about going back into the archives. Another is that you get to read stories from authors who are no longer on GA for many different reasons, there are a lot of really good stories in the archives to read that current members would enjoy.

With each chapter being snippets about the life of Button, his family and friends, there is nothing boring about this story it's all good, very good. From 'babyhood' through to 'adulthood' Buttons story is as real as everyones. Cole Matthews has done an excellent job with his narration and brings life to all of the ups and downs, and important episodes of Buttons growing up. But be warned you will need to keep the Kleenex handy, not just for the tears of sadness, you will need them for the tears of joy too. It's more than safe to say I enjoyed this pleasant and emotional read. I think others will too.

One of the things that I've really liked about looking for stories in the way that I have is seeing how authors skills have improved over time. Seeing how they have responded to reader thoughts and comments shows how much those responses have meant to authors and the encouragement that they have taken from them. It has helped me to appreciate how much hard work has been put into their stories.

I hate it when a story leaves me wanting more. No it's not that this story isn't complete, it is I just didn't want it to end It's that good. I loved this well written story and would love to see a further story to read about Luke's and Erin's college years. A great story from a very good author and a recommended read.

I'm sure that most of us at times are looking for something good to read here on GA, I know that have been. What I decided to do about it may help others, some may already be doing this. When I click on the stories tab I then click on the filters tab that appears, from that drop down menu I click completed stories. This brings up all of the completed stories from the GA archive, it's helpful because then I'm not waiting for the next chapter of a story to be published. I've been working my way back from present day to the start of GA story archives reading stories that appeal to me, others may prefer to start from the first post and work forward. It's fun and it's interesting. I've come across some really good stories doing this that I may otherwise have missed, although I've not left much by way of chapter comments I have left my reactions to chapters and stories and left reviews to some that have really appealed to me. As a result I've also received a some nice messages from authors appreciating my reactions and reviews left, some have resulted in welcome conversations via messenger. It's definitely enriched my experience on GA and I'll keep on doing this for that reason. It's not an earth shattering idea but I thought that others may like and benefit from this very simple idea. Does anyone else have any other similar, or different , ideas that can help to benefit member enjoyment?
