I can't really say I relate to Ben because I always known I was attracted guys. It is obvious he loves Sam but it sounds like Ben never even considered being attracted to guys I never came across that situation. I have seen guys have GF and getting married only to later end up being with being with a guy admitting they denied that side of them.But I don't think that is what Ben is doing I think this is genuinely new to him

The defense budget had been going down annually because the world was peaceful. You forgot to put a fantasy tag for this story If Avery can tell if someone is lying by the shimmering then one particular candidate(who I won't mention) Avery wouldn't be able to make out any facial features of.

Well it looks like Bear won't be going to the dog park for a while. I forget the person who Mac talks to at the park and his dogs's name my bad. He may wonder what's up and the dog will sure miss not seeing Bear. If Devin hurt himself while in the form of Bear he would have had to go to a Vet and possibly not be able to transition back to human. Have Devin and Mac made their school Schedule yet? Maybe they can set it up to where Mac can accompany Devin to his classes to help Devin do certain things but boy that would mean Mac would be burning the candle at both ends. This chapter would be a good lecture on why YOU HAVE TO GET a medical proxy. I'm sure there's a procedure for in an emergency and no family members can de reached that the doctors have discretion to do what has to be done. Couldn't the same discretion be used for him to be able to tell Mac more about Devin's condition?
