I pretty much had the same though @Marty had about the title but he stated it a lot more eloquently then I would have. So I'm thinking something else will go down but what? Based on the characters my first thought is Dani would be the selfless one but you can't be sure with @James Carnarvon writing this.

Remember a previous comment of mine from another story I wrote something along the lines of "Emilia seems to have found herself a nice drama free BF....good for her" Boy do I sound like an IDIOT now. I bet when @James Carnarvon read that he burst out laughing. Laura surprised me what she said to Emila about Luca was spot-on I would have said the same thing on Luca's behalf. I pictured Laura growing into a shallow teen girl but in reality she's pretty damn smart. Now we will see how Marco will react to this new development between Dani and Giaco

We find out about a little more about Luca background.His reaction to hearing the Neri name suggest some stuff went down where he came from. Luca has spoken well of his adoptive parents I would think if Cosmo was problem kid growing up they would not have adopted Luca. So that begs the question did Cosmo resent the adoption of Luca and did that contribute to Cosmo being what he is now? As @Summerabbacat said Emila had the right idea of going to the police but now that Luca brother is involved Luca might want to handle it differently.He probably knew about Cosmo being involved with the Neri's but never told his parents that's where he probably took off to when he left the group and now he regrets not telling them. But wow! Weapons. I was thrown off because the term hardcore isn't usually used when referring to weapons. Should Dani try to get Toto or any of the others in this?

Gianni and Angelo did Marco's birthday perfect and the computer was the icing on the cake. I didn't think much of it when ASSuntra and Enzo appeared previously but I should have known better. I agree with @drpaladin that hey have some leverage over Enzo he sounded like he didn't want anything to do with it and @drsawzall speculation that its porn sounds right

His birthday wasn't specifically mention but it was mentioned that Dani is older than Giaco by some months then later it was said Marco was between them in age and I took that to mean his birthday was somewhere in between sorry for my confusion

If they are that tense just hanging around with their friends how much would you magnify the tension being is the same bed?......as friends of course

I would also say after calming down and some reflection Dani will realize this wasn't his only and last chance something like this will present itself again

I take you believe more readers want Marco. I would be OK with Diaco it would all depend on how it is written.Who would Dani go to for advice? It would not be fair to go to Gianni and Angelo because Marco lives there so Toto and Michele would make sense. One unexpected source might be Luka he's been taking it all in observing all three getting to know them better he might have a perspective Dani had never considered before

Loved how you got everybody in the chapter.Marco birthday was mentioned in passing would Gianni and Angelo have a little party for him? It would be his first one wouldn't it?

Dani probably doesn't know ABBA he had to have his life saved a few times so that that means he didn't hear The S.O.S.....Am I banned yet?

Well here I am I'm actually on the same story as the other readers. Dani has to be smart enough to know Giaco doesn't do this unless he really wanted to.I've read other stories on GA where one guy who isn't sure of his sexuality does most of activity two guys can do BUT!!!! doesn't kiss because kissing would make it gay. Along with this story I'm also curious if it becomes apparent who the readers root for between Giaco and Marco. I'm leaning one way but as long as it's for the right reason I'll be happy with what @James Carnarvon ultimately decides

A couple of chapters ago I wondered about Sami ending up with Reza and T as I'm sure other readers did but most didn't express up to that point you also mentioned a few other thing in this comment that I mentioned you must think I read ahead and then commented trust me I didn't😄 I was going to split this up into two separate comments but instead I'll make one BIG long one. One thing most readers may have forgotten is when after Sami and Reza met Dani said '"I think something changed" there he is as perceptive as ever. Before I move on to Marco it looks like Reza staying in town which reminds me of something I sort of jokingly said in the previous story will Otto visit Ravello? Perhaps part of another story eh?😄 How in the world did they get Lorenzo to agree to this? I have a thought .Maybe all the adults who have tried to speak to Lorenzo on Marco's behalf might have told Lorenzo they would go to the proper authorities and report that Marco is alone 80% of the time and pretty much has to cook and fend for himself and perhaps they found out other stuff along the way. Will this set-up work I have no doubt it will but that doesn't mean there won't be problems but I'm looking forward to it

Lorenzo saying "I’ll see him brought up as a proper man.” he pretty much said to Paolo,Patrizia and Elena that their sons are not going to be proper men also with Gianni present he said that about Gianni parents also. He believes he knows better then them and is smarter then them.I would like to ask Lorenzo if you think you are smarter then them then how come you are struggling and they by comparison are not.That sounds like a harsh thing to say and it doesn't apply to all poor people but it sure applies in Lorenzo's case

I don't know where you're going with this yet.Sami spending New Years eve with Reza and Tiz (Ow she just hit me for calling her that) would that be a precursor for Sami to eventually end up with them? Part of that would make me sad but part of that would make sense Reza and T would be allowed to adopt him.Only two chapters left so I don't know if you can squeeze that all in. If that does happen I hope it happens in a way that Sami will still have a relationship with Gianni and Angelo

How did they come to the conclusion that Sami is a Muslim? Just by where came from? And it wasn't just Gianni and Angelo pretty much everyone concurred that Sami was a Muslim all these smart people like Claudia and Toto and none of them seemed to consider that. A tantrum like that was bound to happen it's just unfortunate it happened when it did. Marta really wasn't going to tell the poo on the ceiling story was she?

I remember in grade school we would actually create an nativity exhibit say in the classroom or school cafeteria and it never occurred to me how a Jewish kid would react to all this .I remember in middle school before the holiday break I had a teacher who wrote on the blackboard the on the last day before the break "Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah" and that was the first time I saw that referenced at a public school. I got me thinking why didn't that occur to all the "smart" adults (I'm talking about you administrators). Gianni is showing Sami is the secular version of Christmas I I don't really see a big concern. Very good use of Claudia,Toto and Michele in that scene. I guess this should be obvious but it hasn't been mentioned since Reza chose to do business here I'm guessing he knows his share of Italian.

It took me awhile I wasn't convinced that Dani/Giaco/Marco was a triangle but it will be certainly heading that way.Giaco by far is the most conflicted in addition to not really being sure he wants that kind of relationship with Dani he also has conflicting thoughts about Marco.The fact that he had Marco over one on one after he heard about the incident with Marco's father shows that he cares for him and is genuinely concerned for his situation but the same time it seems he wishes Marco would stay the hell away from Dani. Giaco has gone from being the most self assured of the group to doing something lame like wearing Dani's tie- dyed shirt (I I bet he though Dani would also) We found out a little more about Luca he seemed to act act the right way when he and Emila showed at incident with Marco father and of course how he interacted with Sami.It looks like Emilia found a great drama free guy good for her. A good scene would have been Reza trippin out at how different Claudia is .

I love Gianni so much but I'm surprised he didn't consider a negative reaction from some student about Sami's African heritage. Lorenzo is as bad as I feared him to be and it also appears that he abuses his wife also this is not good. Gianni's panic attack was so scary thank goodness Angelo was there. I don't have the first clue what to do an a situation like that.I'm interested to see what gets said about this.

I agree with the thoughts stated throughout the comments about Marco being the key. There is one other though being Christmas time Toto and Claudia will be arriving soon if this topic with Gianni comes up while Gianni is speaking to them along with Michele you know what they will tell him? They would tell them to get Dani's take he always seemed to say the right thing to them.
