Most of my thoughts in this chapter have been covered by the smart readers @raven1has a good point about a tracking device on Martinez car I had the same thought about Lucas phone which he ditched.Was it a CPS issued phone? That could help explain how the bad guys found them. The stuff Macy was saying to Jase was extraordinarily intelligent coming from a 7 year old I'm guessing thats one reason why Jase was drawn to Macy's situation

Based on the subtle clues the author has said in her comments I guess Lucas will be able to handle Boss Hogg in the next chapter and Jace will be able to stay close enough to Macy wherever they decide to place her.Bur like @drsawzalland @CincyKrishave stated I see Jace special ability coming into play somewhere down the line. BTW question for @Libby Drew you have this taking place in Florida and you describe the surroundings in a lot of detail.Do you live in or are from Florida? I ask because another GA author who all the readers of this story know who I'm referring to is from Florida.Both of you have similar styles

Someone or something made the determination that Jace has to help 40 souls in trouble and its taken him seven years to do so.The numbers 40 and 7 show up in the Bible a lot maybe I'm off but that's an interesting coincidence. Other then that that I'm still pretty clueless where all this going

Jace reacted like knew his usual powers of persuasion wasn't working on Lucas so he decided to leave regroup and find another way.Is there something unique about Lucas that even he doesn't know? What will situation be when Jace tries again to see Macy?

In a previous chapter it said the year was 2005 I don't remember the economy in Florida being that bad 2008 was still to come. Of course this could be a alternate universe. I love the one-liners sprinkled in throughout the chapter such as .."They could crush a car with their jaws—he’d seen it on the Discovery Channel, and okay, it’d been a Hyundai, but still." and "Are you finished with the kid, Boss Hogg?” just to name a few😄 When Lucas and Jace finally cross paths I can see Lucas trusting Jace although he doesn't know why.

Jase just seems to instinctively know he has to in Kansas City.As if he was programed or something..Still many possibilities is Jase human?Alien? Some other entity has to be responsible for Jace condition. I hope before the end of this Jace sees Helen and Christian again because they were the first that startedJace on this road he's taken. Come to think of it they instinctively knew they needed to help Jace were they also influenced by a third party?

Hope they get back in time to see that program in the Athens museum. But first they have to get some gyros of course

Luke should have had the speaker on when he called Henry to say he was staying at Jackson's. I bet it would have been priceless for Jackson to make out the muffled talking on the other end

Once he sees that you're writing about about him he'll be looking around to see if you're stalking him for material for the next chapter

IMHO guys like Donovan don't usually change that quickly but in this case I'll consider the possibility Roy being a friend since they were small did say he wasn't always like that so it sounds like Roy got through to him that and toothbrush incident might have been enough so with that in mind I guess Donovan deserves a chance beside he did help cut Raymond Saunders down to size. I didn't realize it Dion's situation was so severe therapy and not smiling for years?Well James was the perfect guy for him to meet James also came with two good friends in Roy and Jackie .Speaking of Roy I think it can be only good if Dion is on the baseball team with the other guys on the team knowing Roy is behind Dion. You learn things in your chapters I didn't know that's where the bridge from"Stand By Me" was located I noticed Trevor said he went to school in "Boston" but not the name of the school that certainly would have gotten a reaction.Did he do that intentionally? Trevor meet a pretty girl girl by using the crash the cart trick huh. I tried that once all I got was a "WATCH IT A------E"!!!!!!... Of course being knocked back 10 feet and ending up on his ass might have caused that reaction🤔

The chapter briefly mentioned boys in the home turning 18 depending on how successful Ivan's farm becomes maybe some could go over there and work. Does the home offer any counseling or assistance to the kids who age out with their transition?

With GG speaking to Carl his dreams It sure looks like will will follow in Armand footsteps once the art world finds out about him in the future watch out. The fact that he's apparently a brain doesn't hurt. This is not a huge deal but Michigan football games are always televised and shown somewhere and there is a college football subscription service where you can access close to all the games of course it's possible the company that services the area where the club is may not carry that service. It sounds like the boys in a lot of ways didn't do a lot of typical teenager things (which can be BOTH good and bad) the fact that they didn't get allowances sounds like they rarely went to places with friends from school.But they were plenty busy with the home and their other interests Forgive my ignorance but what will Ivan do with the geese?
