Excellent chapter Mac spent a lot of quality time with his parents I don't know a heck of a lot about the Indian tribe history but what the Hopi,Zuni and Ute tribe did to the Navahos on behalf of the U.S. government would seem to be a betrayal of Indian culture.Did it occur to those tribes how treacherous that was? There is more strategy involved in these races then I realized. You know where to end a chapter after the intensity of this race I knew damn well we weren't going to get the race with Pete. If Jackson finishes ahead of Pete but behind Oliver do they still win the bet? I did not expect to see the Mage responsible for hurting Crillis until much later in the story When they were in the room with furniture and pictures on the wall I thought they would have looked at the pictures to see if there were any clues. The evil Mage knew somebody was there but not who was there at first has Jamie or Snave considered that he can follow their whereabouts when they use the "wagons" Mos nodded his head a lot seems to be universal gesture for people who can't communicate verbally with each other.What if they come across some people where nodding their heads means no? I am not done with the chapter but I have a tendency forget some thoughts as I continue reading and I want to want to share this while it's still fresh in my mind I apologize for this I'm sure most of us have been assuming this story is in the past but perhaps this could be in the future. They found the bathrooms with the modern symbols for Men and Women so I'm think maybe we in the present time almost destroyed the world with our technology. Thorvil and all the Mages got together and casted a spell making the population forget ALL about the technical advances we made to save ourselves and the environment.Perhaps this stuff is underground so that people who still know the technology could hide from the Mages. If you managed to follow that (I'm not sure I did) the rest of the chapter which I'm going back to read might prove what I just wrote irrelevant but I wanted to get it out there. If you want to call me a nut job cool just don't call to have me committed
