The goal was for Corbin to blend into the town and jus like any other Joe Blow but now he's a partner in a local popular coffee shop.Granted Hailey may be out in the sticks and but he now has a higher profile it may be just enough difference for Stefano to find him. Corbin has to make sure that Karen doesn't put his image on their website etc. This is wishful thinking but could the new "Family" in town have a beef with Stefano and they take care of him, Would be an interesting twist BTW hope the Coffee business really is profitable because $50,000 is not a lot of money these days

When Corbin showed up at the construction site was there something about the way family interacted that distinguished them as a mafia family as opposed to just some random Italian family? I guess Corbin would notice something. Otherwise it looks like he's giving into a stereotype although under the circumstances it's understandable.

I have a good friend who was a cop and one of the first things he did was did a background check on me just for the hell of it.He told me I was clean ..gee thanks. I bring this up because I can picture Paul doing that on Corbin.Now obviously nothing about Corbin's former life is going to come up but after seeing the background check will Paul think "this seems too neat and clean not even a parking ticket.It's almost like he's another person hmm🤔"

Like many others I also thought witness protection but can the word handler be used another way besides government? Corbin spoke Italian so is his family part of THE family? Maybe dear old dad is protecting him that would explain the oodles of money Corbin has. And perhaps what happened to Liam was supposed to happen to him. I'm probably wrong but it is fun to guess

Before I say anything else I'm going to mention something I should mention much more often I noticed @craftingmom is editing this just recently I noticed that is the case with a lot of other stories I read on GA including my very favorite story (I won't say which unless you ask) that right there says what an incredible editor @craftingmom is. Snave had the very same thoughts I had and that is just wait until his brother hears him.Snave being able to communicate thoughts now will be a tremendous asset. Totally agree with the two previous readers about the judge.Is there a stenographer for adoption cases?Because that would mean there would be a record of the Judge statement and that WILL come back to haunt him I bet Colin knows a reporter that could make that better known.

Some readers are assuming Paul is straight but he spent a good chunk of the day helping Corbin no mention of a wife and child. That's not proof he's gay either just saying.

Really liking this and want to find out more about Corbin past.I'm not worried about the guy with the rifle if he were dangerous the story would be over. I don't know if you like this or not but as great as the chapter was my biggest takeaway from this was I now need check out Idaho.Why? Idaho nachos of course
