The fact that Marcel came to visit the first time the school was closed for the holidays tells me he thinks of everybody as family.Marcel must of had mixed feeling about being told the customers didn't know he was gone I'm sure he's proud of James but geez. It sounds like GG will always tell Armand who to adopt. I can also see the kids when its time from Tommy on down doing the same thing paying it forward with GG also telling them who to adopt

Well that text from Donavan reveals that he has a sense of entitlement and that he's full of himself. If I were James I would not delete the text. The mere fact Roy went to check on James wellbeing during lunch tells me he'll intervene on James behalf especially since it looks like he's starting something with Jackie Jackie keep your shoes sharp and ready for Donavan

Something I never thought of before what does a funeral for a murderer sound like? And would a priest say that? I will say that growing up catholic the religious comments the priest said were very consistent with what the church says but I wonder if a priest would really say the deceased wasn't a good man even if its true At first my dense self didn't know what the Hispanic family was about but now I suppose it was the family of the victim of Rufus's dad crime. I was pleasantly surprised by Ty's Mom now what about the Dad? Ty's kept saying he deserved to be punched but he's wrong Its Dwight. I would love to see his reaction to finding out about Jim and Clyde. After that if Dwight reacts the way I think he might someone should say to him "You are all alone now because of your bigotry ...happy?"

Yes the chapter was sad but beautiful and it was great Nonna and Armand had that last conversation it left Nonna with peace of mind. What helps a great deal is GG coming to Armand and the boys in their sleep telling them Nonna is going to be happy.I guess Nonna and GG will meet. Armand asked GG if Nonna will come to him in his sleep and he said he didn't like the answer. I suppose there are rules about who can visit you in your sleep

I hope when Carlos visits them in the U.S. Louise warms up to him. Since the boys are older and bigger now when they joined Armand and Colin in bed it had to be like sardines. It might be time for the younger boys to assume that role

I wouldn't have thought of the question @scrubber6620asked I would think Joe would know how to use it without hurting himself. But still a using a bomb hard not to think there could be collateral damage I guess its hazardous to be a spectator at these events

I always wondered what happened to those cats that did the "Purina cat chow...chow,chow,chow" ads. I guess its hard for them to find work now. -
I will absolutely check out JUMP😀 Jim is such a ditz telling Tyler to be honest but then says "no" when Tyler asks if he would come out if he did🙄.Despite that for the most part Jim was right You really had me going for a moment when I saw the word "he's dead" but I quickly realized who they were referring to. Gotta say Dale's really good friend I hope he convinced Tyler on what to do. The last line of the chapter "But then, all the lights flicker and go off at the same time." Was that figurative or literal? That can be interpreted a couple of different ways. Speaking of lines the one that read "Maybe after it's all blown over, I can check if he’s as good as he claims." Was that a intentional or unintentional pun?😄

Oh well ...I like you anyway -
What @pickuptoysaid brought up a question for me does Armand have any of GG paintings if not maybe GG could tell Armand where she has one hidden or something When Christen said “Yes, I don’t want to be like my father, so what will be your fee?” Arnaud was there that could have been taken the wrong way. It was 100% Armand to ask for a contribution to Uncle's House

Thank goodness for Roy I had a good feeling about him I think it was equal parts Roy not wanting James to get hurt and stopping Donavan from making a huge mistake that could possibly cost him a scholarship. I hope Jackie gets that chance to kick Donavan in the balls Not only does James almost gets raped his Mom finds out about him and while her reaction wasn't negative for the moment it fell short of positive. She must have not overheard the the part of the conversation about the attempted rape

Looking forward to another story from this author. So Jayson only watches ESPN? I wonder if he thinks he's going for an NBA instead of a MBA.(I know that was lame)

Except for the anti-gay part Tyler's Dad rant was pretty funny sounded a lot like my step-dad when I was growing up.I thought there was a chance he wasn't as bad as we feared but that looks like its not the case. His referring to Rufus as being cute in a previous chapter and if he were younger is all the more head scratching. One thing Tyler's Mom doesn't do I guess is she doesn't eave drop on Tylers conversations otherwise she would have never said what she said. Her not knowing what Jim said not withstanding it was still a moronic comment surly she has to have an idea what Dwight and Clyde are like but she would rather Tyler be with them instead of Rufus? I hope Rufus using the word goodbye doesn't mean what I think it might mean🤞

🎆🎊🎵🎉🎇 I have been watching you grind through it.I bet it was labor of love Looking forward to reading your reactions as they happen in the coming chapters

Your comment about The Jewish don't eat pork reminds me of a conversation a Priest and a Rabbi had. The Priest asked the Rabbi "How come you don't eat pork?" The Rabbi answered "It's against my religion how come you're celibate?" The Priest answered "To not be would be against my religion " Then the Rabbi said "Well not being celibate sure beats eating pork" (Do you think a lightning bolt is headed my way?)
