The previous comments say this better then I can and I said something similar before the very real obstacles that was present before in both of their lives are no longer there that shitty hand Alec mentioned has passed.Alec should really consider Finn's question“What’s so great about Washington?”.What will be there for waiting him?More the same f----d up non relationships he's had.Alec stay for awhile you can do your work from Iowa.But he should see what could happen if he doesn't it will just be more regret. The one possible valid concern is if he did this it would be the first separation from River in a looooong time that is not insignificant.I assume this Ken guy lives in Washington not Iowa that would be too convenient.Alec could still take legitimate business trips to Washington and keep in touch with River maybe even bring Finn along a few times heck he could rent his house to River and Ken.Okay I'm finished with the rant LOL listen to me telling Alec what to do as if I have been so perfect making decisions for myself😄

Is 2620 the year they are in? Reminds of that cheesy song way back when In the Year 2525. How exactly do you tell a 14 year old or anybody for that matter they are centuries in the future? This passage "It’s just… We have British sailors who would have been killed by a U-boat. Then we have members of a U-boat crew. That’s not to mention how we will deal with the Japanese.” After reading that a thought I had is there are still Japanese people in that point and time I would think .They could get people of Japanese ancestry to help with the transiton.It also made me think with this alliance is there such a thing as a Bristish accent in that time?

I really can't add to what the others have already said about this incredible story I just think this story deserves more than three reviews and I hope doing this inspires a few more readers to write a review. The one thing I will add is this is easily the best story dealing with this subject matter I ever read and I suspect other great authors writing other great stories referred to this while they were writing them.If you haven't read the other reviews yet I suggest you hold off and read the story first the author didn't want something to be revealed until it was read IMO it made great story that much more greater.

Welcome back these days when you don't hear from an author for awhile you fear the worst but I'm glad in your case its been being real busy instead of the other thing. It will be interesting to see how different the chapters are from Valen's POV.It was nice how his Father reacted

Most definitely an interesting chapter and how you set the stage. The one possible red flag here is the entity from the future did this in a way where the people he(or she) contacted had literally no time to think over what was being proposed.Hell as cautious as I tend to be I would not have thought twice either.Why did they go about this way? If they have bad intentions this is exactly how they would do it.Needless to say the situation in the future must be pretty dire also

In the future I will recommend this story to readers who haven't read it yet.Obviously because of the great story but I'll also tell them that they'll see some new material from Dr. Suess. I'll let them figure out what I mean by that

Everything that's happened in this chapter looks to be building blocks for positive results. I'm really looking forward to the conversation Finn and Alec will have. It sounds like Alec is receptive to really listening this time with no distractions and more importantly no where to run. As far as this situation with his Father if the conversation with Finn turns out like all we readers hope then that means Alec and Finn got there second chance.With that in mind maybe Henry should get a last chance since he reached out . The worst that can happen is a bad situation stays the same but at least they tried he can't be hurt by him anymore even if it fails. Everything seems to be in place to make things right with Finn and Alec will gain a new family who is spite of everything they seem to love him. So what could go wrong? Unfortunately that would be Alec being...ALEC!!!!!
