Because of the sheltered life he lived in the past he was never in the position to make a mistake like that. Why did hid first mistake in his new situation have to be so huge? The line in the famous prayer "and lead me not into temptation" is very wise.

It's a good thing Cal (in a legal sense)has control over Orion because Orion telling Julian this would have been risky. If it ever got to legal action a good lawyer could argue that one of Halcyon former properties influenced Julian wouldn't that be some kind of legal precedent. The main threat is Ben's family especially his Mom. If she even HINTS at filing any kind of complaint if I'm Ben I would tell her if you do this we're through and bring up what happened with Brandon at the same time. -
