The two Harding boys go off to battle, having declined what was a hefty bribe. This just shows the moral courage of these two men and the town without knowing it, has been given a lifeline.

After 2 years and building a home and farm, Elias and Theo now confront a new evil; one wrapped in corporate respectability, but as devilish as Cobb and Rourke. Thinking of Americans moving from what had been a British colony and fought for independence. I wonder what they would have thought of being, once again, subjects of the queen?

Buckshot is a wonderful tale of love, resilience and loyalty. Through Elias and Theo, who embody these virtues, the story unfolds as they not only save a town from evil, but also build a hopeful future for themselves and others that will leave readers smiling with joy. A splendid read that I devoured in a single weekend.

Crikey! I used to watch Bonanza and the High Chaperel on a Friday night at 7pm. It was like going to mass. Everyone sat around the TV. Little House on the Prairie was another.

With 8 chapters to go we knew the peace could not last. Now it’s up to Theo and the gang to turn the tables on the actual villain, not Cobb, a simple thug, but Rourke.

The ghosts are on their way and Cobb will be wondering what on Earth is going on. I hope he gets what’s coming to him.

Well Black and White have crossed the river to glory, not, and Cobb has performed the deed. Now our guys need to recover the gold and get back to Silver Spring and Marshall Dixon.

Now Theo has his work cut out for him. Kill Cobb, rescue Sawyer and eliminate the accountants.

An unusual group, but they now have a dead compatriot to honour, a band of scoundrels to flush out and two crooked accountants to attend to.

Another brilliant chapter and I am more hooked than ever. I loved the card game. As for the lawyers, the need to be returned to Chicago at a brisk pace minus some dignity and pompousness (if there is such a word).
