The dance scene was hot. I'm enjoying Brandon a lot more now than in Embers. Not sure what I think of Shannon. I want Trevor to find a man, but also understand that he needs to be true to who he is, so we will have to wait and see.

That was a fun chapter with friends meeting up after the Oz fire service. Trevor will hopefully meet someone and it's good to see that Brandon is apparently the alpha in waiting for the San Luis Rey Pack.

Trevor is a very nice guy. I wonder whether he will cross the Tiber to the colorful side or stay where he is with a nice girl?

A huge relief that all the fires are out. Ethan and Aiden are an awe- inspiring team. But does the elemental have a mate who is well and truly pissed off?

Agreed 💯. I'm really glad that Brandon is giving his wolves space. Perhaps this is the mutual effect he and Ethan seem to have on each other.

These fires must be an absolute nightmare. Aiden and Ethan have been working elsewhere but are called back to support the Mutts. As others have said, it is possible that Ethan and Brandon are interacting at some subliminal level. Let's see how this unfolds.

So Brandon is a little alpha. I wonder how that will work out both in Oz and back home? Ethan and Aiden could really help him.

Ethan and Aiden did an amazing job. They still have work to do to control their powers in such an extreme situation. I hope Lachie is OK, or that Ethan can heal him.

Brandon has some kind of chip on his shoulder. To do with his background and height maybe? The comment about the Kardashians is out of line and he deserves a clip around the head. I suspect that Ethan might have some way of calming gim down.

Lynton is intent on not understanding Alexander and not deviating from his misguided approach to Bradley. I think Alexander is right about Brad and Luke, and also right that if will never be Linton. Linton really needs to wake up now and consider his options going forward. He definitely feels the attraction to Alexander, but to explore that authentically, he needs to let go of the illusion of Brad.

I agree with much of what you have said. I'm not warming to Brandon and not sure where it's going, but I've loved the other stories so I'm reading this one with interest.

Brandon's wolf is really suffering being ignored amd locked away. I have to say I'm not a big fan of Brandon's. I'm not seeing the redeeming qualities yet.

That fire was crazy. Years ago I visited the koala sanctuary in Brisbane. I was surprises at how heavy koalas are. Like little balls of lead. I'm worried about Libtons imprinted mate. I think he is going to be a widower.

Brandon did well and is fitting in to the crew. I've been close to sugar cane fields burning and those flames reach about 40ft in height. I simply cannot imagine the inferno of something 3 or 4 times that height.

Brandon and Luc are settling in well as partners in the fire crew. 🔥 The banter eases the tension of what is going on all around them.

I found this chapter difficult to read. Brandon is going to have to work hard to get aligned with the humor of this group.

OK. A good start. Brody's story reminds me somewhat of Ethan's.i wonder if he is mated to a wolf and if he has met his true or fated mate?
