Well our two really did work their way through a Big time-based puzzle. Only to meet the puritan. Let's see how this encounter goes. My bets are on Alec.

Watchers is an intriguing historical sci-fi. Strange but enthralling, it will have you turning the page again and again. Alec and Hugo are a great duo and as they learn about the complexities of the world around them, they also learn about their own complexities and just how they unexpectedly compliment one another.

This is a domestic idyll but it can't last too long as they need to find their way through the maze of streams. To what end though? They could very easily set up home and have a grand old life together. Hugo and Alec sitting in an eyrie, kissing ....

It's a first for me too. The first few chapters had me wondering what on either was going on, but it's starting to gel and it's great. Loving it.

Pendersleigh remains a mystery as do his reasons for giving a watch to Hugo. It seems that Stoker and Hugo are strangely bound, something that is more meaningful and precious to Hugo than he would have thought. I bet it is the same for Stoker.

Wow! That got hot quickly and about time too. Hugo may be a gentleman, but in this new world, they are definitely equals.

I like Stoker more and more. He may not be educated but he is as bright as a button. I wonder what the clock face could mean for them?

I do get the feeling of Alice Through the Looking Glass. I like Stoker straight away. This potential of moving forward with a game keeper will be new for the son of a minor aristocratic family.

OK, so let's see where this goes. Wojciech is an intriguing character but so is Penderleigh. How much does he know about the watch he has given our young protagonist?

What a delightful tale to come across. It is so refreshing to read stories about mature men who live normal lives. I can relate 😆 Two men who have been entrenched in their loneliness find each other and a whole new world opens up. Delightful.

Double Concerto was the story that got me interested in your writing. I have loved this story too. This was a great way for me to start the day. I have a 10 hour flight in a few hours as I head back to work in the Middle East. You've just given me food for the journey. I hope new chapters emerge every now and then. ❤️

What a horrid time Aquinas has had all these years. As for Bro Dominic, he is exactly the kind of predator that has brought such shame and dishonor to the church and other institutions. These two men are going to heal one another. It's beautiful.

These two really are peas on a pod. I do hope they enjoy the bird watching and give each other the time and confidence to figure out what their attraction is and what it might be.
