I loved this story! One of Headstall's best. If you like action, love, nature, and complex social relationships, this story is for you. I envy future readers ability to binge read this pageturner!

Chapter 31: Feral Fight
CincyKris commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 31: Feral Fight
Could the leg pattern be from the beaded bracelet? -
Very exciting start! This alpha means business. Can't wait till he and the mystery wolf meet. Cyn reminds me of an abused child, afraid of everyone and everything. He needs a lot more than just physical healing.

My hope is that Lee, Avery, and Jeremy will eventually feel worthy of accepting other people's love. Lee has the biggest hill to climb, but Avery (who spends time in his room to give Bill and Anna a break from himself), and Jeremy (who has a mini panic attack after getting Clay's approval) still have a ways to go, also.

Aaron's Humble Beginning

I have been to the park as a kid, although I'm sure it has changed a little since the seventies! I looked up the little grocery store -- yes they do have a website! Hoople's loaded potato salad only $2.49 😋 -
Chapter 10: Shimmering Stars
CincyKris commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 10: Shimmering Stars
The woodland amphitheater reminds me (minus the lake) of the amphitheater in Berea Kentucky. I've been there many times to attend the artisan festival held there. -
I love the start!! I can't believe how quickly you went from offhand comment to full story! Your mind is a mysterious thing.

Chapter 9: Tender Tears
CincyKris commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 9: Tender Tears
Loved the chapter! I teared up for Chris and Dave, laughed with Caleb and Vincent, and loved Elaine. I was sipping bourbon while reading about the guys sharing bourbon. -
I loved this chapter. I have to admit, I disliked Thomas so much after the last couple of chapters that I was hoping he would be retired from our cast. I'm still on team Jared, but I have at least a small modicum of sympathy for Thomas. I think that prior to moving in together, a couple (gay, straight, or anything in between) should discuss their expectations of faithfulness. As for Edward, I think his prior performance experience served him well! Fun chapter 😄

It's going to be sad saying goodbye to my cowboy friends, I will miss them. I love that when Coy makes a decision, he's all in. His practicality made a potentially awkward conversation into an exercise of intimacy. I can't imagine a situation that would break these two apart.

Chapter 1: Dark Discoveries
CincyKris commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 1: Dark Discoveries
I love the start! I have an affinity for wolf shifter stories. Headstall's Morningstar Malaise is my favorite. Robcub and Mann Ramblings have great ones, too. Just once, I'd like to see a deer shifter story, they're out for revenge! -
Your Breakfast is My Dinner
CincyKris commented on astone2292's story chapter in Your Breakfast is My Dinner
I worked night shift for a short time, right out of college (almost 30 years ago) and found the sleep schedule very difficult. My dad worked at a small factory and preferred working the night shift. I believe he also found it peaceful, and generally lacking in bosses. I work retail in southwestern Ohio, so I can identify with both your location and experiences. How many times have you been asked "do you work here?" while wearing at least 2 company logos AND a nametag? -
Jared would be crazy to allow Thomas back in. He still doesn't seem to be remorseful for cheating, only for getting caught.
-
The angry icon is directed at Thomas, not at the author (who wrote wonderfully, as always). I have absolutely no moral issues with having an open or semi-open relationship, but that should have been discussed with his partner prior to straying. Jared should know what he's getting into. Perhaps living with the Prices has skewed his view of "normal".

Fun chapter! Hopefully we can get back to fun gatherings again soon. I have to admit that this middle-aged American Midwesterner has never been to a drag show, but your description made me want to be there with the boys.

HIGH HEELS, SEQUINS AND BIG HAIR DON’T REALLY WORK ON RADIO
CincyKris commented on Wombat Bill's story chapter in HIGH HEELS, SEQUINS AND BIG HAIR DON’T REALLY WORK ON RADIO
Sounds like Tristan will have a future after dancing. I can't imagine that professional dancers have a terribly long career. -
Does he leave the bowtie on?

Damn, I should have started with the other story first! Oh well, I'm enjoying this too much to switch over now. I guess I'll read that one next.

You Might be a Slut After All
CincyKris commented on Wombat Bill's story chapter in You Might be a Slut After All
Since I'm not the type to peek ahead, I guess I'll have to wait. I definitely think Raj needs to move on. I wonder if he needs a new used car? -
It's hard to say whether Oliver is just pushy (he is a used car salesman!), lonely, or aggressively dangerous. It's sad about the building in Manila. It makes me wonder how many public buildings and skyscrapers are anonymous memorials.

Round up the Usual Suspects
CincyKris commented on Wombat Bill's story chapter in Round up the Usual Suspects
I love Edward! He seems to be a substitute parent to "the usual suspects". Justin sure could use a substitute parent. Sounds like he will fit in well. -
It's my opinion that parents who throw out their children due to sexual orientation (or to unintended pregnancy, choosing a partner of different race or religion, choosing a different profession or school, or any other deeply personal decision) did not ever truly love their children. Any love that is conditional on staying within set parameters is not really love. It's too bad Jessica is not strong enough (yet???) to realize this.

It seems that Lee is still in recovery mode, he's still trying to recover his old life with Eddie. It might take something big or someone doing something big to push him into accepting the help he so obviously needs. Greg? Avery? Both?

My fear is that Willy will tell Rita about his encounter (rape, but he would spin it falsely) with Rick. Rilly would use it to try to force our hero into doing something he doesn't want to do. You wouldn't do that to us, would you?

My first time reading this, it looks like fireworks and sexual tension are in our future! Maybe 2020 put the nails in the coffin for "team building" getaways.
