He has been missing in action indeed...Maybe you can help clarify something for me...there is something been struggling with....Is it me or was there something substantial between Robby/Charles and then Eddie/Robby...Was it just fun or something...I ask because I feel like Robby was just added as a filler.

This is by far your darkest story. I can't imagine this ending in any kind of happy way.... oh he has written some pretty dark stuff .hihi....Only this one really has a gore frenzy. I got a different impression when was reading @The Donling....Joshua does do crazy and violent sure...but the unrestrained violence the Sprite revels in is something else entirely...

Well..a well trained martial artist would always mop the floor with one who is untrained regardless of what knowledge they have ..You notice that Alec is hurting even though he downed those guys...his body is not conditioned to handle the knowledge yet.....Think of Neo Vs Morpheus in the training room scene in the Matrix...Neo had the knowledge...but Morpheus had the experience and the conditioning ..hence why he whooped Neo' ass..

I did not get that impression when was reading Agent Reed' s part .He seems like one who wants things to be bloody left alone..The kind who believe folks should not have the ability to wield otherworldly power.

What is that famous tot of wisdom?..You never know the value of something till you lose it...At the end,I believe Jace finally realises that he truly loves Noah..but by then it's too late for him. That closing scene of him at the Police station is of a man who has come to a realisation that he is reaping the consequences of his choices..It reminded me of Michael Henchard from The Mayor of Casterbridge ...A man felled by his own choices . It's tragic really..he has totally given up on himself and the world..even the one other person he could always count on .Miriam -

I.just realised something today that I had not before... Their first names are an indication of the aggregates they are Masters of .. Hugo..Master of the Aggregate of Mind.. Hugo is literally means 'bright in mind', 'thinker' or ,'Clever'..Attributes of our Hugo . Alec...Defender of mankind...though in this case of a bespectacled clever twink...wait is Hugo a twink or twunk Mr Lydon?😂😂 I cannot believe it took me long to recognise this stroke of subtle genius😂!. You ought to reward me ,Sorr😂

That song is right for this chapter indeed... This was one of the most heart wrenching chapters and you have written a lot of those over the years😏... Emotions especially love are messy...In the end no one comes from this chapter unscathed... The pain, the heartbreak and the despair on all parties involved. It was a really soul crushing read. I know am the only person who is seems sympathetic to Jace's plight...but God ..this chapter had him through a wringer. The physical assault he is subjected to by Elijah and his guards, the slaps from Noah and then that ending scene, he has temporarily lost his freedom. He is a beaten,drowning man who who given totally given up on life..A man who is trapped in regret . Thank you @vanalas! -

Oh no ..I had no idea .Pardon me.I was just thinking out loud ..well in writing my opinion that is -
For a moment there ,I thought you were going to mention Agent Smith😀😀.. Oh he is a good one...we only just been 'introduced' to him physically in the recent chapters but one cannot help but feel the menace that he is.. Its like Sauron in the Lord of the Rings books...he is not physically encountered by our protagonists but the menace ,the terror that elicits in them is intense and overwhelming. That's the same thing I 'felt' about him when Kate /The bride mentioned him to Hugo... This scene of his just makes him even more chilling and scary.. He is the Col.Hans Landa of this tale😀 P.s...pardon me if I rely too much on reference of movie characters😀😀
