Joel is on my shit list in this chapter...I understand his reticence about talking about what went down with Celia but it is starting to get old..fast. I mentioned in the previous chapter or so that if someone tries to meet you half way, you can try and do the same.He is not trying at all. I like to believe that he has lived in that house long enough to know that what Trace told him about having a safe refuge is true. All in all this is yet another beautiful chapter....I felt the 'terror' of sitting on Raven that Joel was feeling too😂 Thank you!

I never read a story where the protagonists are this despicable,totally without any redeeming qualities ... In the end, Scott and Alina were architects of their own ruin. Goes to show hate does drag someone down -

I understand that Gavin is having misgivings about talking to Matthew about their relationship and it's quite understandable. I do feel as though that because of his 'fear', he is being selfish and unfair to Jason. I worry that his reticence (Gavin) might strain the budding relationship between him and Jason to the point of no return . Thank you! -

I know her intentions are always noble @Mark Ponyboy Peters, but Merry is at times such an Esme Watson. I would think now she has a toy of her own to occupy her time, she would be a little less nosey. Someone sure does not mince with words..eh😂😂....She is the embodiment of overbearing .. That is why cannot ask for Ajai's downfall to come soon enough. Good thing he has a lot of enemies gunning for him. There is a C-drama I watched some years ago it was set in the palace. One character told another that the worst fate anyone could have is being born a member of the Royal family. Being born in one means you forfeit agency and your destiny is decided by others. I like to think that is what happened to Naeri and Raithion . They are both victims of their parents' ambition and quest for power. Raithion's sister was lucky because luck was on her side and their union is one of love...

Every now and then , you come across a story that leaves a mark on you. Watchers is that story for me. It is a powerful captivating story of Alec and Hugo from different social classes and time who are brought together through time travel.The plot moves at a pace that leaves you room to relate with these characters.This is not just about time travel though,it is a love story of Alec and Hugo . The characters are well developed and engaging. The supporting characters are superb and enhance the depth of the story .The world building especially of the different time streams is fully fleshed. This story is a highly recommended read for anyone who yearns a well balanced sci-fi and action riddled love story!
