Well as per everyone of ur novels and stories I thoroughly enjoy this one! And yep for me ur ending in my mind is brilliant. Any valuable literature should challenge the reader, take then to a place to think analyze ponder ... this novel and the ending of one chooses to call it that accomplishmented all that and more. It lands in the realm of " you can't always get what you want noooo" and there's always a price... Vincent was dead end... over ... mason was left destroyed... thru the quick thinking of one of his deities both lives were saved... thier future saved... cheated... raw deal... ?? Really? Any being on thier deathbed would give up much more than thier magic to be with thier loved ones..... I had a stong feeling he was going into battle unprepared... he stillcould not wrap his head around the follow thru of killing. He started out negotiating... first sign of fear and weakness with a true sociopathic killer... I feel u described Vincent strength which became his downfall quite effectively in a truly psychological and realistic way! A great accomplishment in a fantasy novel! I always find characters in ur books realistic. Just don't stop or change ur talent and calling.. I am truly thankful for ur skill creativity and talent! Please keep it up! Look forward to ur next one!!
