Hmmm, the exploration of your favorite dessert. I never thought of that one.

Prompt 128 also sounds as if it could be quite messy, as you explore how it feels so you can describe it in vibrant detail. However, I'm not sure how you can explore your favorite dessert using your auditory skill unless your favorite dessert is rice crispy treats or if you mean how it sounds as you're eating it. Most desserts don't make any sounds before then.

What many people don't realize is that the crayons they used to color and draw with as children, and possibly still use to write with, are made using paraffin wax. It is also used in some beauty and personal care products, and it has many other uses as well.

I don't usually write poetry, but I gave it a try for the anthology, so I hope no one feels that my poem is an April Fool's joke. 🤪

Yes, drsawzall, the implications are far-reaching, and we'll have to watch how this plays out. Hopefully, it will all be good, but we know their are evil skinwalkers as well, so will we see any of them or will they come into play? As far as posting, for now I can only promise that I will post a new chapter every Tuesday. Stay tuned and don't change the channel...

Hmmm... I'll steal the old Wendy's catchphrase, but change it slightly. "Where's the quay?" I only see a bridge and don't see a quay. Is it just that my eyes are bad or what?

Thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. If it hasn't been mentioned already (my memory fails me at times), then it will be addressed in the future and the question of longevity will be answered. There is a lot more for you to learn.

Thanks, Danilo, I'm glad you enjoyed it. You are versed on a lot of ancient mythologies, and over the course of this story you will hear about this one from a couple of different viewpoints. However, be warned that I do take some liberalities with the skinwalker mythology because there isn't a lot written about it, so I tried to fill in some of the gaps and expand on it. I hope you find it interesting.

Living by myself, I get to enjoy a great deal of quietude, so much in fact that sometimes I turn on the TV while I'm writing just so I don't feel so alone. I don't really pay attention to it, but it makes me feel that there are others aroud.

Thank you, Raven. I know that many people were expecting Devin to be a werebear, and possibly his family were were-creatures as well, but I wanted to do something different. I may also very from Hillerman's description of skinwalkers, and there will be many other times when I add even more information about how they may different from what you may have heard or read about from other sources. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Thanks for the comment, Al, but once again, don't try to get too far ahead of me. It will eventually be explained how all of this came about and how this might run counter to what you have heard about skinwalkers. I hope you stay with me for those future chapters.
