I would say that we could probably classify all those late night sales pitches on TV as being kitsch then.

The first car I drove was my Grandfather's 50 Ford, and the first car I owned was 51 Chevy with a 4-speed conversion kit on the floor. That's the one that kept popping out of gear.

Ah, finally a word from my youth. The first car I drove and the first one I owned, most other people called them jalopies. I thought they just had a bit of character. It wasn't that big of a deal that the first car I owned might pop out of gear on its own. I just had to be ready to correct the situation. 🤪

Oops, I thought it had something to do with insert or insertion. I guess my incertitude lies in keeping the meaning of all the Words of the Day straight and using them correctly. -

Thanks, Danilio, and I'm glad you've enjoyed the Castaway Hotel series as well. I have always tried to be a little different from what else is out there, and I hope I've been successful and have entertained readers along the way.

Yes, you're assumption about someone else knowing how to do the things that made Devin's great-grandfather a skinwalker may be correct, but who has that knowledge? As you've seen, the trait has been passed down to following generation, although no rituals were performed, merely training to fine tune their ability. Thanks, Al, and I'm glad you enjoyed the Sword of kings as well.

Yes, kuchen in the kitchen. Kuchen is actually the German word for cake, but it's actually a mash-up of cake and pie that is topped with a creamy custard. I'm gaining weight just thinking about it.
