Adam and Mike said goodbye to Dave and Judy and drove directly to the Georgetown campus. Their classes were starting about the same time again this year, so Adam was only planning to help Mike carry his things to his room and then he would spend the night. As we entered October, we all seemed to have a great deal to do and not a lot of time to get it done. Noah let us know that he and some of his teammates wanted to get started on the Haunted House this weekend, so I talked to Brandon, Dion, and Trey. We had to find a way to keep Joshie and Bennie busy - preferably out of the house so they wouldn't see what was going on. I'm not so sure the animals will be better off being left in the wild, since hunting and poaching is putting many species at risk of extinction.

The Washburns and Bermans got up early on Saturday morning, ready to make the trip home. Fortunately, Noah's injury wasn't serious and he merely had a slight sprain, along with a bad bruise on his calf. I showed him how to tape up his ankle for practices and Saturday's match, so he was satisfied. We also iced both areas and had him keep his leg elevated to reduce the swelling. Time flew by at work the next day. When I got home, I checked Noah's ankle to make sure he hadn't done any further damage to his leg.
