  1. I feel the I have been set up with a Pavlovian response to this story! Chapters on the 19th, 21st, 24th, 29th and 31st....then nothing for 6 days!!!! Reminded of Oliver Twist, please sir, may I have more
  2. Of course you can sweetie, it what we all thrive on!
  3. "I was soothed by the crackling of the fire, calmed by the subtle creaking of the tree, and enthralled by a distant melody that seemed to be sung by the wind itself. This was a symphony of nature, a song of the earth that resonated deep within my soul." I am in awe of this writing, so few words yet so evocative . I was wondering if "Ancient" was based upon Finnish, just by the spelling. Awesome story!
  4. I love the way Greys wolf speaks to him, a sparseness that is real to me. My family's heritage is Polynesian / Finnish, I am the white one in my family yet we all look the same. Makes interesting conversations with strangers 🤔 😕 🙂
  5. It's a grey overcast dawn here in Sydney, and I have read this chapter twice, my comment " holyfuckamoly!!" Bring it on mister! 👌 👏 😍 👍

    Chapter Two: Scent

Agree with everyone that has commented, love the smell of a smirk especially!
  7. Your scene setting had me thinking of the TV show "Grimm" and then it appears that part of the USA was the very setting!. I found you via a forum and I am liking what you have produced, Greys head space is something that I think I have experienced ... including the concussion! Thanks for the captivating beginning
  8. I am writing from Australia and I am very concious of USA bias in stories that I read, like TV shows that overwhelming appear more than local content. I aim to have universal language and if not then appropriate explanation as a part of the conversation.
  9. It was an amazing interesting story using language that at times I barely understood. An insight into a different culture and growing up perspective. It was not the wolf shifters that had me confused, but the Detroit speech patterns and the notes at each chapter were most welcome! The heros both had me happy, annoyed and I wanted to take the dad out to the forest and leave him there. I loved the different religions and acceptance of the families, seemed it was the Christians who struggled with love ( well played!).

    Truth's Embrace

Beautifully done, and they get to go to the dance, and hopefully if Soren is registered as a Mage, life might get better for him.
  11. I became a premium member became of you and I am very grateful for the nudge you gave
  12. I have started to write a story and hope to see it here on GA, and this forum has given me both hope and thought about my small flame that I am nurturing. @Mark Arbouris right about comments, I have messaged some authors about spelling or storyline disconects, but always praise in public. @kbois can stand some ribbing from her loyal crew which at times is like a family gathering!

    Chapter 11

The table and chairs are clearly both a gateway and a warning, but only those with the right amulets and magic/ head space get the full treatment. Rebklos I fear is not going to make it to the end of the rite, perhaps not even to the end of the story! Imagine after all that has happened and were told, they said "No" to Adga. Foolish kid..
  14. Sexy and romantic, difficult to get the balance and language right, but I think you nailed it perfectly. 👌

    Chapter 103

Exactly the same thoughts from the number one Aussie/ Kiwi fan. Best NYE present 🎁 ✨ 🤪 💕
  17. I worry about Duncan, but then wounded people who are quiet need the most help but like a frightened animal, given help very very carefully and slowly. Asa is far more empathetic than you have stated, but clearly implied. I also thought Caleb was an idiotic fool about his son far too much.

    Chapter 102

I knew Brad was plotting!! My pick is Miranda and perhaps with Big as an accomplice... Good riddance to Coraline and don't let Cody hire anyone
  19. I chose Miranda as the humiliation and knowing that her daughter had been molested would push anyone over the edge

    Chapter 24

I feel like I have been on a grand bus tour with a big group of strangers who have ended up becoming ( in a nice way) like extended family. Thank you @kbois and your stalwart crew for the wonderful ❤ amazing 👏 brilliant work. So, with laughter and tears, you can rest up knowing that your fan club has become so big, we are a small town ! Merry Christmas from a sweltering Australia XOXO
  21. I think that might be the first time that Jubal has verbalised to himself internally that he has attraction for men 🤔. Like I have commented on before, the fears of discovery are never far from the surface.

    Doctor's Advice

Thank you Dr Marin for getting Connor to at least think about the reasons why..goodness me, youth and the ability to make a mess.

    Chapter 23

Despite what another person has written, I too feel the same way, and dont take it to heart - life even in a Petri dish has purpose. Our author has many decisions to make and this was one of them.

    Chapter 23

And Emu. Koala I am told ( protected) are not tasty as all ( just joking! About the Koala)
