It seems like I'm liberal also on that point of view. The girl is 16, I'm not talking about her maturity, she's old enough to consent. Also, she did the stuff with her, I'd assume, boyfriend. It would be stupid to think that, at those age, people don't have sex at all. Therefore it would be a little stupid to prosecute the boyfriend for that. It is also interesting the double standard when it's boy sex; for some reason, the age of consent for boys is older, I think.

Well Brendan is pretty cool with everything, He's one of those that are alright with the coming out of someone he knows from the start; someone that doesn't need time to adjust. I don't think I have any real, major, problem with keeping track of all the characters. They're all in their own setting, there's Helen (and barbra) on their own, The boys of Instinct, and those around dimitri. Altho, I wouldn't be able to tell you who were the 2 other girls with Charity (tho I do remember they were two others ), and the same goes with some others. Now that Graeme said it, I do agree with him (I find that I use those 5 words often btw), In a strange way Jon is the one major character that might be the weakest. He often lay low; when Chase has problem with his brother it's always 'cause of Eric's doing. Like Graeme said he haven't really had a big air time and therefore we don't know as much how he is. About the guys from The Shadow, without saying that mixing them up cause a big problem for me, I'd say it's still too early for me to define them clearly. the end of chapter 4?!? cliffhanger, really? But they just arrived in front of Nick's house! If that is a cliffhanger,, This is called making sure that readers will come back for the next chapter!!! how do you classify the end of chapter 5? Well I write first because I like doing it. I like creating an alternate world, going to bed at night and having my mind playing scene of what I've already written, and what I'll be writing next. That being said, I'm not doing it for big fame or money, but it is nice to know that people are reading and enjoying what you're writing. I'm invested in the "universe" I create, I have a good general idea of what will happen in my stories next. Having people commenting, talking about my story just gives me a greater interest in writing more. Like I said, I have a clear idea of the universe I've created, and I just love to talk about it. Therefore, I love the interaction with readers. On the story I'm writing right now, I already know what will happen and where it's going. The readers wouldn't be able to influence me on the big picture. But, if I see they want to know more about a smaller character (one that I hadn't in mind to develop that much) I would write more about them. sacha a.k.a. frenchcanadian

we call them, at least in quebec, respectively fries and chips. In french here, you'd call them "frites" (sometimes "patates frites") and "Chips" (tho the right term would be "croustilles") Also as a quebecois slang, you could call fries "une graisseuse" but that really, really show a lack of education. Calling "Chips" here "crips", I certainly wouldn't understand that.

I agree it does seems like he have something going on, a family thing or in any other personal level. But whatever it is, it's something that he don't want to elaborate and we have to get along with that decision. He did say that he was good, so whatever it is, he's not in any danger. About the 'not having written much', well if he had a situation well you can understand that in those time you might not have much inspiration to write. I don't think the banning of words do any good. Yes, sometimes word can be offensive. but one can use offensive words like "fag" in kind setting. As long as you don't use them to insult someone it's alright. also it does get against the creativity or authors.
