Well--this interlude opened up lots of concerns Gabriel is cut and nearly killed by two Japanese gangsters. One was killed and one got away to come back and kill him Tom , it turns out, has serious money and marital problems. Might he be vulnerable to a bribe to enable someone to be able to kill the Senator? Gabriel needs to watch his back and not fully trust Tom. Other killers are out there.
