Colin and Owain became much friendlier and happier together. They decided to make some positive changes. Neither one wanted a one-off and wanted to stay together . What that ultimately means was left open, They found they had things in common and could add to their building relationships.Owain loved his cooking skills. They both enjoyed sex and Coiln was freed. Staying over was a new practice for Colin and he was pleased at the transition. Owain suggested ways they could get together at his place and be intimate and Colin agreed with him Their closer relationship and increasing liking for each other will be found out eventually as they leave Owain's home. Colin has not yet thought it through what he willl do or say. He may find himself in a crisis and have to decisions to make quickly.

Wow--What surprising outcomes, I did not envision Edward was saved by Lothar. When he met Fran, he was very upset at not dying along with the others he fought with. He forcefully rejected Fran. He clained too much had happened and they were unlike and had no love. He rode away and disappeared. We do not know if he still lives. Ed was not reported captured Fran made a new life. He is more powerful and successful. He followed up and took care of Lothar and Luthar. Fran created a marriage of convenience with a willing lady who bore a child he would claim as his own, He now had a heir to tutor and help grow into his role, Fran became the Lord Justicar. Now he is working on an overseas exploration deal to male money and earn more power I guess there can always be potential problems on the horizon. Fran heard of a rumor that Edith bore a child. What is Ed doing ? He could be a formidible opponent. Oh well, these matters might be some fodder for a future story.

What a mess--sex and a knife in the chest. Vincent will be the number one suspect with lots of evidence connecting him to the cook. Might Jim and Claude play detective to save Vincent? Could they be needed to take up the defense to save him unless he is guilty?

Well--it appears things have the potential to be dangerous in Germany. Huntington is unpredictable and the fae world cannot send protectors. I feel a sense of impending disaster with the three isolated from their US packs. They will be open to treachery in Germany with people they do not know. Huntington is amassing a large army and could send a segment to Germany. It will be a key spot to transform the hybrids so Huntington's enemies will be present. . Plus, the leadership in Germany helped stop him. He will want them to suffer, I bet, Huntington could have spies, He also will want to kill Caleb and Corbin and the one who recovers his hybrids, Asa. He might not want his creations to be cured. He might want to make more at some point. Deaths of his enemies in Germany would show how powerful and dangerous he could be, It could be like a terrorist attack on the shifter world.

Colin is a coward. He has to make a choice. Does he fess up to Owain and try to live thruthfully or make a break with him and live a life of quiet desparation? He has made his own hell hole. I hope we find out which path Colin takes next time?

The chapter ends with Travis traumatized and Will extremely concerned about him. Thomas Buck is the father of Travis and Travis is shocked to his core at this stunning discovery that his real father was the man he thought was his grandfather. Will saw it clearly. "I sensed how completely rudderless he was, and how whatever was in that letter had totally altered his worldview." What can be done to strengthen Travis and give hm a rudder? Can his mother help him understand what happened and how he became a half-brother to Curtis? Curtis has to respond to the news. His siblings also have to be shocked and disoriented. Jake has learned he has a different biological father and now clearly has a half-brother, too. This is so mxed up. and new. Will and his family wll be there to support and counsel and love Travis. He is fortunate to have them.

Toby has the better deal than Noah: his parents are more supportive and involved in enrichng his life and even personally creating more enjoyable food. Noah lives in a big house. Both of his parents work full time outside the house.His parents are open and non-judgmental so far about Brian and Gordon and their sometimes exotic jobs. They do not know Noah and Toby are experimenting, getting naked and kissing, Noah seems more informed but wants to stay in the closet. Brian and Gordon have figured out that Noah and Toby are becoming itimate and are not concerned so far. Can Noah's sexual playfulness stay hidden from his parents ?

I can see all eyes turn to Miranda.I think Miranda Buck has a lot to explain during next part of the dinner. Will she flee? Will she remain and be fully truthful about her sexual activities with Thomas Buck and then Jake ? Jake might respond strongly to any false charges she makes about him Curtis thought Jake raped Miranda and was the father of Travis. Why ? Did she tell Curtis she was raped by Jake? How did he find out about Jake who was an minor young worker at the spa, if not from Miranda? Maybe, Curtis had her watched and did not trust her. At least Travis is known not to be Jake's son. They are half-brothers. But the false claim Jake raped Miranda has to be addressed. Will Miranda own up to her actions? Her honesty or lack of honesty will impact the relationship she has with Travis and the rest of her family.

The Baxter boys found wonderful, caring good samaritans--just in time, They needed some good luck for a change. They could have a much better and happier future. Time will tell. This should be fascinating and a good read, Thanks

Curtis Buck is a mean, vengeful, nasty man, He hated Travis and along with Tayor went after him and tried to get him killed. Taylor swallowed her father's claim that Travis was the reason they lost all their big money. Stef said Curtis was not trying to help them. He wanted Travis killed and then would use his money for his own uses. His plan was to help himself only.“When he went back in and bought up the assets of Buck Industries, using Travis’s money, they would end up in his name, not yours,” Stef explained. “So your father would be the sole owner of Buck Industries, and you would be where you are right now.” Plus we learned that Curtis thought Jake was the father of Travis and had him outed in the army. Jake was livid. Brad wanted to hurt him. I expect Curtis has no longer has any friends in the room and more enemies. He better watch his back.

Damn--Travis received a letter from his grandfather's lawyer. He found out his father was his grandfather---Thomas Buck! No wonder he was given a generous trust unlike his siblings. It appears, too, that Thomas Buck was the father of Jake. Travis is a real Buck--unlike as Curtis and Taylor Buck originally stated

Very Good CG is talking to Charles and the thread of continuity is extended. You wonder if traveling to France to see Pierre's cottage and see personal sites is a step towards completing some of their final bucket list of " to do's" . Colin and Armand can fnd peace at connecting the important parts of their lives.

Watkins is using and testing Hudson and Jackie right now. Let us assume the club as it really starts is not going to be fake like a movie set for an X rated horror film. Blood, gore and violence are real and thrilling to the high end , kinky fans. Three main characters could have shorter than they expect life spans. I am just speculating and could be wrong-or partially right Hudson is building the website and taking artsy pictures. Once he has the website up and useful, Hudson's value is very low, if and when he complains. Poor Otis could be duped and be too trusting. Jackie could he discover he was betrayed by Otis for Hudson. Jackie might get him ready--drug him, lie to him, etc- and take Otis to be a model/victim for the new club in revenge. At this point, Jackie thinks the club is just edgy and not really sinister. Jackie is so trusting , it seems. He portays hmself as as not into extreme things like horror films. “Nope, I’m still squeamish as hell. Still, it’s nothing real, and,” Jackie leaned closer, making their shoulders touch, “the people that get off on this kind of thing, no matter how staged, they’re pretty fucked up, right?” I think he is going to be shocked. If Jackie does not go along with the blood and gore that Watkins wants, he is not longer a needed asset to Watkins. Time will tell......

I feel things are going to collide sooner rather than later and people will be hurt Otis has a temp boyfriend, Hudson, and Missy tells to be himself to win over Hudson. Great advice. He is not interested in anyone else, But Jackie wants Otis to be his boyfriend and Hudon does not tell Jackie that Otis is his boyfriend already. Jackie will get very upse when he finds out. Watkins is starting a new, invite only club. Jackie and Hudson are told it will feature simulated blood and gore as Jackie say--like in a movie----maybe an extreme BDSM theme. But it may not be simulated and then it will be dangerous to the actors/sex players and others who will be very upset seeing real blood and gore and death. Hudson fears for Jasper life who will be brought back to act in the new club. Watkins is mad he left . Finally, Hudson has been targeted and spied upon. Someone searched his apartment and found a hidden camera compartment so he can no longer use it. He will need to be extra careful. Watkins has tough guys--goons--to carry out his will at the new club and elsewhere.

Oh--FitzH1943--I do not believe this is the last chapter in the Bridgemont saga ! It is the last chapter in the 8th Bridgemont book. More books can be written if our gracious writer feels inspired . Mark Arbour has lots more room to write about men at sea. George might even help Nelson at Trafalgar in October 1805 and at some point end up an admiral. The war against France will extend on land and sea until 1815 or 14 or so years away.

Seth was advised by Mrs Reinhart to realize he was able to make a choice about his living place and that he needed to realize this was an interim period so he could move again in 2 years.“You only have less than two years before you head off to college,” she said. “At your age, you have a right to make your own decisions until that time. You can live with your mother or your father." Neither choice is perfect and they both have bad points. He can continue to try to get his questions answered about his mother and father. He has boys he loves and does not want to run away. It may come down to which is the lesser or two evils. Right now, it appears his father will be more controlling and less willing for Seth to have boys over to have sex or be physically demonstrative . He likely does not want his daughter introduced to gay sex. Seth's mother should let him do what he wants in his room and he could set up rules they both accept if he moves back. He could work it so Stacy did not have veto power over him.

So, Mablin is painfully helping Xavier and his crew to begin to adjust to surviving with as little disruption as possible in Silverton. Xavier and Syth agonized and accepted the slave gaunltet method as a protective device. There should be more steps needed. You might find it hard to realize looking at the cover picture of a powerful great sand dragon that Xavier could be as thoughtful and willing to accomodate and see reason. He father trained him well and this inner wisdom should be a powerful guide as he tries to establish his kingdom with his wise followers. What Mablin told him about the present Combined Desert Realm is encouraging to Xavier. Maybe, Mablin will want to join up with Xavier's likely mission exploring the region fixing first on the City of Lucas the Lost. Gradon and Mablin have been there and know of the great weapon that can only be used by the true Lucas. Mablin has not yet considered what he will say about the green dragon when he gets to Silverton. He has sent the remains of the body ahead and will be selling , I assume, parts in the market. Will he not be questioned by the city authorities due to this unusual matter ? As head of the caravan will he hide or disclose to the authorities the surprising revalation that green dragons can shape shift and invite further attention from even higher authorities?

Key matters are revealed in some ways. Some interrelationships are developed. The group has a new focus. Xavier explained to Mablin that he was a prince of Seandra from the past, but did not tell him he was a great sand dragon. Xavier felt the death of a true green dragon and saw that the powerful red haired half elf killer was also blessed by earier two great dragon victories. Kandric's deathly actions reached Xavier and yet does not yet know his name, but should be on the lookout for him or word of him. Mablin deciphered the amulet Lucas held. He explained that the markings reveal to Lucas that Greysac is your "Grandfather, and Odin is your Great Grandfather." A city in great sand desert is called Lucas the Lost and contains a great power that only Lucas can use wield, The group has a goal to visit this city after they stop in Silverton. Lucas with this new power could greatly aid Xavier's quest to establish his kingdom. Xavier and his group discussed Lew's offer of slave gauntlets to protect Syth. Xavier was greatly pained to consider it. but finally agreed the he could be seen as a slave gladiator. He knows from Mablin that they need to be careful and not standout. Syth will need to be seen as owned by a proper royal--I assume Thane will be selected, Syth may get a chance to use his skills as a gladiator. I pity his opponent.

Seth's friends get closer to each other and him. They enjoy sharing sexual pleasures. He has a choice to make: Stay with his father or mother ? There are pluses and minuses to both. He will live a confined outsider status with his dad. His mother is going into counseling as well as Stacy. Seth is offered counselling, too and will attend a new school.. Would life with her be better as a result? I suggest Seth talk to his mother and ask her the questions he has. She should tell him why his dad left and why she wanted a restraining order. Saying she was afraid the father would claim the Stacy seems specious. The potential for violence or injury or unfitness seems more likely a reason for such an order. Be honest, please. Why has the true reason not been revealed? Was she worried he would hurt their kids in some way?

James and Winston and crew are very creative and determined to find out what the map reveals. Dr Wagner is following and disturbing them. He thinks they are onto a great find and must be trying to steal the claim for the discovery for his glory. He will not give up. The crew has another activity planned to work with the map. Meanwhile, James and Winston get closer but have not yet touched each other--Soon, they will act on their feelings, I bet.
