@kbois I must add here that you really tricked me. Till the last moment I thought that Caleb and Sebastian have some sort of secret agreement!

I don't want to flatter you, but I really think you could give @Mrsgnomie some advice in choosing pictures, yours are just...wow!

I will start with comment what this story isn’t, this story isn’t just “another shifter story”! This story is so much more. @kbois rich imagination brings completely new level of this genre. She has developed incredible convincing world of shifters that we have feeling they are really among us. Characters are realistic but strong, independent and, simply, irresistible. Relationships between them are a lot of human-like, although hierarchy among shifters is important, author doesn’t fall in a trap of too much submissive relations which can be really exhausting at some authors. @kbois world brings some new legends and myths, not being shallow but, at the same time, not losing in some metaphysical and not understandable sphere. This story is intelligent fun! I’ve been postponed reading this story for some time due to my skepticism regarding the genre. That was huge mistake, I recommend it with pleasure!

Absolutely, I thought more as visual appearance. This moment: 🙂

scene from the movie The Right Stuff https://youtu.be/KgHqiZyBjB0?si=5imSi_Q8oU1i1eR8 Reminds me more on opening scene of Kenneth Branagh's Shakespeare adaptation "Much ado about nothing"!

@Laura S. Fox mixed best elements from some of the world-famous classics – “Pride and prejudice” by Jane Austen and comedy of errors by Shakespeare, incorporating them in romantic, gay, coming of age drama. The result is this amazing, entertaining, funny story. Who are the bad boys and who the good ones really are? @Laura S. Fox is building her characters so patiently and systematically that, chapter by chapter you discover something new about them and some of them even becoming the protagonists in new story eventually. As all stories by @Laura S. Fox this is crazy, enjoyable ride from the beginning till the end.

I'm usually precautious with shifters stories, because not all of them are my cup of tea! But this one is soooo good so far! @kbois excels!!!

Amazing love and friendship story, fulfilled with mystery, crime, unexpected twists, dark family history, witty humor and some wonderful dogs! 🙂 Jett, police officer in K-9 unite, specialized in chasing down a suspect with the help of his dog Bruce, meets Kyle, veterinarian and emotions sparkle. But dark events from the past threaten, not only their happiness but their lives as well. What is the role of Jett’s neighbor Kim, are the biological parents the real one or the real one parents are those who raised and supported us, can the traumas and bruises from youth be overcome, can the ghosts from the past be defeated and does love always wins…those are some of the questions you will get answers reading this story. @kbois is fantastic author. She keeps you occupied and focused on the story so much that you cannot stop reading till the end.

This is one of the most exciting stories I have red. Using elements of paranormal, mystery, romance and good humor, @Laura S. Fox imagination makes miracles. Switching bodies has been used to reveal real, authentic feelings. In a roller-coaster ride, with misunderstandings, funny turnovers, revelations...characters discover themselves and discover the true about friendship and love.

Beautiful story settled in picturesque landscape with wonderful Victorian mansions, adapted watermill…place like a fairytale kingdom you would like to visit. This scenery is perfect for a love story. Mark, closeted local constructor specialized in adapting old houses; and Sawyer, journalist form the town, open with his sexuality. With elements of mystery, the story evolving around love, family and neighborhood acceptance. Mark, with selfish parents travelling around the world, raised by an aunt and Sawyer, estranged from his brother, both discovers who their real family and support are. Above all, this story shows that small place and ordinary people might be more acceptable and supporting than some around the globe travelers, fighting for the world peace but unable to bring love and support for their own child.

Amazing, skillfully written story. Two lifelong friends Greg and Nate are living together seemingly normal every day, early thirties men, life. But appearance of a young neighbor Kyle, his teen age, free spirit and attractiveness, wakes up some painful memories in Greg. As story goes on, in flashbacks, we can see how two boys, Greg and Nate, innocent and happy, grew up together, strengthening their relationship, discovering sexuality and feelings. What they didn’t know is that somebody is watching. Nate’s father, an evil man, pedophile, predator waiting to take his prey. Discovering chapter by chapter in flashbacks, we can see his evil plot to take Greg. One of the most terrifying characters ever written on GA. He is not some drunkard or punk, oh no, he is pure evil disguised in distinguished doctor, with knowledge of medicine and social connections which helps him to cover his crimes. In the present, Greg and Nate are still suffering from the bruises of the past. Greg, fighting the psychological trauma and painful memories of physical pain; and Nate, fighting the guilt, enormous, terrifying guilt. Above all, there is love but, can love survive ghosts of the past? You will find out after reading this wonderful story I highly recommend.

Tnanx, I was reading back to see is it the chapter with sheets change but it was Hawaii trip. 🙂

Look at her, first on pg 7 and doesn't brag!😂 Now, seriously, why Part One and Part Two?! What did I miss?

Opposite attracts might be the shortest explanation of the story. Main characters, NFL quarterback Andrew and journalist Aubrey share animosity and obvious dislike. But, under the surface, are they really what they seemed to be...or, there is something more? Is Andrew only reckless and arrogant lover boy and collector of twink trophies, or there is a gentle, generous soul beneath in desperate need for true love? Is Aubrey principle, strong willed person, or there are some insecurities and blockades beneath? Is there HEA for these two guys, or differences are too big to overcome? Read the story, enjoy its beautiful development and witty humor and find out!

You are right about that one. It was more my general feeling...like, other stories were as watching tv series, this one is more like theatre. I don't know...maybe because it's the first @Mrsgnomie storie I didn't binge! 🤔

I hope you could add some dynamic to the story too. Development of the characters and their relationship building is exceptional but, this is the slowest story you have written yet. Rather “chamber” story too, like everything is happening in one house (even Hawaii part). It is still unknown to me why have you separated this story in two (or maybe more parts). I haven’t seen any crucial story moment to make a brake, so I was confused. Little acceleration would be nice, not some pompous, exhausting drama because it is not your style. Rather, when you finish putting them out of closet, move them out of the house a little bit too, they are suffocating! 🙂 Oh, @Mrsgnomie, you will hate me now, and Krew are going to crucify me!

Keep reading! 🙂 She is certainly the character that arouses the most ambivalent feelings in the reader, and she is not even alive!

Part One. Chapter Twelve.
Cane23 commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Part One. Chapter Twelve.
Give Max a chance, unlike Kyan, he is very mature and self-confidant. I think Kyan is the one who will feel like shit becoming aware that Max is still supportive no matter what. -

I don't think that he will "suffer tremendously"! Why would he?! Ok, he might be disapointed because of Kyan not being honest but, suffering?!? It is not that he was in love in Perry since forever (actually, beside some atraction I didn't get idea that he has so strong feelings) and he is not Kyan's life long friend! -
There's been some discussion regarding Andy's education and carrier. We know now that @Parker Owens sent him to agriculture engineering as he was so good with engines, machines and farming. Somebody suggested writing, somebody else suggested social service but, I was really astonished with his legal knowledge and sense for law. Persistence, logic and general understanding of topic would make him a great lawyer. So many talents...

He was so young and inexperienced and, although she couldn't know for shure, she might be afraid that, as a young, courios boy, he might like to explore...and than, who knows. Maybe that was the reason she kept sex so rigid - what if he likes it too much?!
