Or if you come to read or just come to enjoy the conversation of the community in general? Before I've become a member at GA, I was only reading (obviously). Now, I like to participate in conversation, sometimes it is about topic, can be off topic but it's really fun! Binge reading is better regarding reading itself because it gives more compact and overall picture of the story, but series following is immense joy and fun because it adds tension, anticipation and, as I have already said, great communication with community. Do you like reading the anthologies since it was so topical all of last month? Yes, although, it can be challenging to read when there is more anthology stories published daily (together with regular series I follow)! Do you like to read stories from new authors, or do you stick to your true and tested groups of Authors and Poets? Both. There are authors I never miss, but new ones can be positive surprise. For example, @empath is fantastic new author. I enjoy his 'legal drama' story very much. Do you read by genre pretty exclusively? No, but I have phases when I like to read something more as love/romance, sci-fi, adventure, shifter stories etc. I've discovered some interesting stories, and I was surprised how much I enjoyed some genres... Is there something you would like to see more of in stories that would get you reading more? Not in particularly but it would be nice if moderators or somebody who is longer here at GA make promotion of old stories from archive so we could discover some hidden treasure. I’d like to learn something about authors who are not active anymore but have made a great impact at the time. So, if you are in a area that falls back, you can prove to Cher that you really can turn back time Luckily, with new technologies, time is going back automatically, we don't have to do it manually... But this 'time going back' reminds me of story I've read recently. It's 'Goon' by @dkstories. Great time travel story! I do like romance to be honest. When two guys fall in love, usually with something that is preventing them from just going for it, it captures my heart If you haven't read yet, I strongly recommend any story from @JJ Quinn, 'Halos & Heroes' in particular. I think it's exactly what you are looking for! 😉 Halloween! Not particularly popular in my country, I would say it's more 'American thing'. Only thing I don't like about it is when I see little children dressed as corpses with big knife going out of their head! It's bizarre, I would never like to see my child in costume like that!

What looks like a political manipulation at the beginning, grows in a struggle for good causes - triumph of love, acceptance and principles. During the story, we follow Cole's personal growth, as transformation from an Ugly Duckling to a beautiful Swan. @dkstories intelligently hide his best cards at the beginning, so slowly, as story goes, readers discover more and more about characters and their personal histories. Hidden in GA archive, this story is a jewel that should be rediscovered again by new readers.

I thought this was going to be 'only' The State of Illinois vs. Thomas Miller courtroom, legal story; but I'm glad you are going to continue with Roger's story. So complex story, in a way, both Thomas and his father are victims of the predator Uncle/Brother! There was no salvation for Elijah, luckily, Roger was there for Thomas. But let's not forget DA Mike Shultz. He might be acting behind the curtain, but his contribution is important as Roger's.

I'm impatiently waiting chapter 4! I'm totally addicted to this story! I mean, reading the prequel we know the outcome, but legal process itself is more than interesting!

Incredible, prophetic words! The story has been published in 2013, but it can be older. In 2024, we see dangerous changes in the world. God help us all! Amazing story! Hope that @dkstories is well, siting somewhere at the seaside, under the palms, watching the world and laughs to himself!

Ralph really DO like Nolan! It is not easy to swallow your pride and go talk with bigoted father. It also shows that characters and family relations are not one-dimensional in this story. Despite the judgmental treatment and, actually, lack of respect from his parents, there is fact that he went to his father for help when he needed it, as every child (no matter how old) should do. New Ralph, confident, standing for himself might get more respect from his parents then the obedient one. We'll see. On the other hand, domestic atmosphere in house is so charming. Ralph and Nolan trying to steal moments for themself as most of the parents do. Circumstances are so unusual, Nolan is spending nights with Ralph while girls are in the house, and he is in their room while they are at Theresa's. * I hate word 'pervert' as much as I hate word 'abomination'!

Oh man...you are amazing! Such a talented author, incredible! Chess is divine game and I'm intrigued by the story and all the metaphors connected to chess pieces, symbolics and game itself. Usually, 'death' of king means end of game. But you introduce a new character, king's son, a pawn. Then again, the reminiscence is incredible so, it could easily be - The king is dead, long live the king!

I've been waiting @Summerabbacat's comment first as this chapter made me upset. I sympathize with Ludo and Damian; their life is complete upside down. It is absolutely clear now what the title Those Left Behind means!

Good morning good people! This time differences are interesting! 😁 It's 7.30 CET! I've been to book fair on Sunday. I haven't found books by Murakami and Julian Barnes I wanted to buy, so, it was just visiting. Since I'm actively reading online stories, not much time for printed books!

I've read The Hollow Hills before I became the member of GA. It was the first story with rape and mental issues I've read and it left incredible impression on me at that moment. Before that I was reading mainly romantic stories, with some good smut, a little bit of drama and happy end. The Hollow Hills has been completely new experience for me, so, thank you @Valkyrie for that amazing experience!

What amazing chapter, totally agree with @Summerabbacat - interesting development and reversed roles. I like this dominant Ralph! He was insecure and afraid for so long... now he shows that he can be a badass, at least something good he can take occasionally out of his father's attitude! There is something good out of this situation, Nolan coming to live with Ralph! Sometimes, unexpected circumstances force the events!

Why didn't Cole choose Glen to be his wingman?! Or he really has some hidden feelings for Dale?! 🤷‍♂️

Beside congressman and his son, what is the benefit for Dale or LGBTQ+ community? The same congressman voted conservative when it was in his own interest, now he wants to support gay rights. He is not a man of principles he is just a sleazy politician! If public opinion changes, he'll change his policy again! Only reasonable argument for Dale to accept this proposal might be possibility to help his mother healing and rehabilitation.
