The complete gossip session between Therese and her friends leaves a feeling of bad taste, at least. It's so provincial with no class at all. Oh, maybe I expect too much of her! I should be happy there was no malice... It's nice watching Ralph getting comfortable with himself and his own sexuality. I mean, comment like this: ...would be impossible for Ralph to say not so long ago. Must be feeling relief to make such a comment with confidence and without shyness.

If there is anything good out of this 'parenting thing' it's getting rid of Alex! Parenting is a huge challenge, even for couples; but for a single guy, soldier, faced with prejudices...it is going to be a roller-coaster ride!

Anthony doesn't want to hurt his father's feelings so, he is playing 'political correctness' around him. At the same time Todd and Barrett don't want to hurt Anthony's feeling, playing dumb to his stupid, infantile behavior. Who is winning here - nobody, except they might get some vision problems out of rolling their eyes constantly! Guys, stop playing curtesy and help each other with honest talk (as much as it might hurt somebody's feelings). The truth will set you free (and Anthony might get a girl finally ).

OMG, they are so beautiful together. Ok, sex is always hot bat there is also something charming in their insecurities...so realistic and cute. Now Dillon - another idiot in the room trying to please his parent!!!! It sounds like harmless favor, but it could cause a total mess and epic misunderstandings!

What kind of woman enter a hospital and slap injured person?! Oh Laura, what secrets do you have, why Carter makes you so angry?! And Dexter - he's completely insane...going around and introducing himself as Jeremy's fiancée?! These bastards will do anything to keep Jeremy and Carter separated! As @Mancunian has said - I'm sangry too! (although it sounds like Spanish wine 😁) -
No, because Berret hasn't explain this to Todd yet! And there is some of his own idiotic behaviour to explain: Memories of my comments I made to Richard during sophomore year resurfaced, and I felt like complete shit. Anthony was more observant than I previously gave him credit for, and I was the insensitive asshole back then saying derogatory slurs at someone who was only being himself.

I have sympathy for Synthia because she reminds me of my daughter. We are teasing her sometimes that she reminds us of terrorists with dynamite around her waist - wherever she goes, there is explosion!

Back in 2012 I think, I saw the exhibition in Vienna's Leopold museum "Nude Men From 1800 to the Present Day"! The really exciting thing were placards put all over the city, including bus stops, showing explicit full-frontal photo montage of three footballers by French artists Pierre & Gilles! The Freud Museum is not far away too... -
Barrett's search for his mother brings some interesting intrigue to the story. Although clumsy, Cynthia might be good choice for this job. She is well motivated to continue search for Barrett's parents. Both due to her personal background and wish to prove herself. Dillon and Todd had an argument. What could it be - is it about Barrett or something else?

For a good looking, masculine guy, Barrett is rather insecure. Being a child in foster care probably had some effect on his psychological development. Denial of his sexuality for so long might influenced his self-esteem too. Having one girlfriend, who was more a friend than a girlfriend says something about it. Todd might really help him to open up and feel all the beauties of love and relationship.

Unfortunately, not, at least not yet! He'll do anything to please his father, at the cost of his own happiness. As I've mentioned before, there is lot of 'emotional manipulation' their father use and Anothony is not strong enough to resist. You know those kind of parents - You can do whatever you want, but you know my heart is weak...ok, ok...don't be sad if I die, I'm not judging you...go live your life, I'm not important...blah, blah, blah...

This is so charming chapter. Conversation with irresistible twins has been amazing! Incredible how relaxed and 'normal' it sounds - daddy having boyfriend or two daddies. Comparing to decade of few ago it is so refreshing being yourself! It should help Ralph open up and find his happiness with Nolan. Of course, nothing can go completely smooth. Judgmental parents are here to make Ralph's life more difficult than it is.- 12 comments

To quote @drsawzall from previous chapter comment about Anthony - He should reach between his legs and give his testimonials a grope and find the courage to be his own man…. Well, at least Anthony is honest, both with Barrett and himself, even admitting he is jalouse of his brother's independence. Unlike Barrett who keeps his feelings for Todd a secret while talking to Anthony. Is it wise? Isn't it going to be much worse if Anthony sees them together, holding hands, kissing...

Beautiful story and I have to agree with @centexhairysub - presented in this form, story is finished. If you decide to continue, please do it if you have idea for good plot, not to please us. We are always hungry of good stories, but it is author's inspiration that is important. I would personally like, if you ever decide to come back to this story for rewrite and expansion, a multi chaptered story with more adventures at sea, closer look into the characters - their feelings, emotions, thinkings... The story is amazing in this, short form (as @Al Norris said - to the point), but it also has potential of something bigger. Whatever you decide, wish you success, eagerly waiting to read it.

Drama continues, suspense grows... If there is anything good out of this situation, it is honest talk between Jeremy and Carter and Carter's revelation of his failed marriage. Is it going to be enough for a fresh start (assuming they are going to escape Lopez and his men)?

Anthony doesn't have problem with Todd's sexuality but has problem with father's refusal to accept Todd's sexuality. So, instead of dealing with father, he, stupidly, find it easier to push Todd back in the closet than to push father out of his narrow mindedness.
