  1. The limo dropped Martin at his house and the driver helped him with his bags and duty free purchases. As he entered the house, Martin turned off the alarm and reflected that it didn't provide much in the way of real security and was only a simple deterrent to an indecisive thief. However, it did decrease the house insurance premiums. He stood in the entry and breathed in the familiarity of the house. He was home and he loved the house, although after sharing the London apartment with Simon

    Chapter 1

Quote: We are here because someone—The Archivist, as I’m calling them—has correctly identified the two most vulnerable people at Hilcrest High and found the exact leverage necessary to destroy us both. Who or what is the Archivist and what is in their archive? And importantly what is their motive? Money?
  4. Oh, what a difference a day makes! This intense story takes place over one day.A day in which people start to change because of a boy and his dog. The story shows us, in stark reality, the trauma and corrosive effects of ingrained beliefs. But all is not gloom as trauma initiates change and the potential for understanding and family bonding. A compelling story, not only worth reading, but also re-reading. Thank you @empath.

    Chapter 7

I found my label machine so obviously I created a label: STORY (To be read, important to understand)
  7. Even if he has a beard? Oh I see, you mean . . . . that.
  8. Martin has sensed that his life has changed. Now we will see how he negotiates those changes, especially with those people who are important to him.
  9. Have you hacked my computer and been scanning my notes @Daddydavek? :: rapid rewrite:: D'Artagnon will arrive, with his sword!
  10. I agree and reuniting with his children will take time, and won't be because of his new wealth.
  11. Glad you enjoyed the pretentious restaurant @Davide. I enjoyed writing it. Martin is still in shock so the news of a title is just one more thing. Besides he's not much into titles.
  12. So much to unpick here @Summerabbacat. Martin may not become his own matchmaker in a traditional sense. Rick is in a solid relationship and will settle down, sort of. Not all the turmoil in Martin's life back in Sydney, will be unpleasant and some possibly entertaining. Natasha! I'll let that one unfold.
  13. Even Bert accepted the logic in retaining Terry's name. Terry's role in all this is truly commendable, especially the way he totally accepted Martin as his son while knowing wasn't.
  14. Unfortunately, I am embarrassed to admit that did happen to me, and yes I have been a bit more "manscaped" since then.
  15. Martin was right about being out of bed showered and dressed before the others. He looked in the refrigerator and set the breakfast table with juice, muesli, yoghurt and milk. Finding some eggs, tomatoes and bacon he decided to make scrambled eggs with toast when the others emerged from (what was obviously now) their room. He turned on the automatic coffee machine. When they appeared, the lovers were wearing smiles that even the apocalypse wouldn't be able to remove. Breakfast was a hit an

    Chapter 2

Things seem to be going too well in Joy city. What are our two nasty academics up to and what are they planning for our heroes?
  17. Your positive reaction is justified. Friendly threesomes have never worked for me, but to each their own, or is that to each thruple their fun? 👍
  18. That took a while @Summerabbacat but no spouse or children to introduce. You need to wait to find out anything else.
  19. He never met that man or went to his island.
