Loved the pacing and subtle suspense of the first chapter. As for the second, the humor is fantastic! Only problem was reading in the wee hours and trying not to laugh out loud waking others up. Loved the wolf's expressions and attempts to communicate with the sidenotes on messages he was attempting to provide the young man.
There simply are no words, one simply must read! Obviously, by the comments, not only have readers appreciated the additional chapters but are hoping Jack Poignet will turn this into a full-length story.
Wouldn't mind a backstory for the biker either.
