That would truly be a dream come true. I think that's something we all want. It would make things so much easier. It would also take away the whole aspect of lack of procreation from the religious right, which makes it that much sweeter.

The trend is that more hate crimes are being committed against gays. That is a major concern right now. That is why we must keep advocating for our rights and protections.

Activism is at least partly responsible for that fact. We cannot let our guard down at any point in time. They are still attacking, though some attack in much more subtle ways.

One thing I will not do is mess around with a guy who is over 35 and still in the closet. That is a giant red flag. NEVER date somone over 35 and still in the closet. That's asking for trouble.

I have always wanted to see Phantom, but I probably won't be going to NYC any time soon. Les Miserables is supposed to be at Kansas City in September. I would love to go, because it is one of my favorites. When I was in high school, we sang some of the songs. I've been a fan ever since.

Hate crimes against LGBT people seems to be largely unreported by the media, except with the victim is a beautiful blond-haired, blue-eyed Adonis. Perhaps they should start paying more attention to these hate crimes. They happen more than anyone wants to admit. There have been strides within the last 30 years, but there are still millions of homophobes in the streets.

I may have influences as a writer, but I do not do fan faction. I prefer to come up with most of it on my own. There are some here who do write fan fiction. Personally, I consider myself unworthy of writing fan fiction. I'm also not sure about the liability issues of it.

I see that you turn 24 this year, meaning that you are a rat. I must say that those sound like some good traits. I just think some of the Chinese signs are less than flattering, like dog (me) and rat (you). lol

Kevin, I would not allow it unless I trusted that person completely. It's not a decision I take lightly at all. Besides, it takes a while for me to trust anyone that much. Thus, something like that is a rarity. I believe in safety above all else. I would have to be 100% sure of fidelity before I would even consider it. Tim

I happen to agree with that. Some do say it too early. The weakened meaning is not the only risk. I may also be interpreted as obsession. That is often a death knell for a relationship.

I agree completely. Most people have both same-sex and opposite-sex fantasies. Kinsey 0's and 6's are actually quite rare. Most are in between. I am a 4 or 5 myself. A major reason why most people have a straight preference is because that is still what society expects. If children were socialized as neutral or bisexual, the percentages would most likely be different.

It may be a ploy to be cruel to Eric once again. As a member of SPiCE, I object most sincerely. There is not doubt that The Scar is capable of cruelty and evil. Eric is being too cocky about it. He's going to get into trouble again. I can smell the evil cliffhanger already.

I want to know where Phelps is going to be buried. He's old and should soon be dead. I want to go to Topeka and spit on his grave. That does not make it any better. I have a hard time coping with a young person dying like that. It's something I will never understand.

I reserve bb for relationships. And yes, I know some say never, but I disagree. First of all, I won't do that without testing and at least 4 months of time before it's on the table. I couldn't do that for someone I did not love.

My birthday is always 1-7 days after the American Thanksgiving. I love it when my b-day is on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday; because that means that my birthday is during a four-day weekend. I wouldn't want a b-day on Valentine's day.

I believe the words are much more meaningful when they are said less often. Having said that, I actually have a hard time saying it at all. I may think it, but saying it seems to be difficult for me.

The Scar was obviously oblivious about what Eric was doing. Obviously, they are inching closer to the truth. That was a great chapter. I can't wait until the next one comes out!

I would not even be offended by a woman being topless in a similar photo. Yes, we are more conservative than even our neighbor to the north. Women can run around topless in Toronto from what I understand.
