  1. I'm not sick of them in the least. They seem to have aged gracefully, and they're wonderful men, especially Stefan.
  2. This is one of the worst. It's called Casu marzu. It's my pick for the worst. It's a specialty food in a small town in the Italian island of Sardinia. Casu marzu literally means rotten cheese, and when something's rotting, maggots find their way in. This is not something I would ever eat, though I must say it's good revenge on maggots, since they will eat rotting human flesh. I think a good runner up is the Inuit's rotten fish. Now, what is the most disgusting food, something you'd never put in your mouth for any reason whatsoever. For some, a certain food can be so gross that he or she would rather die than eat it. Now here's a pictures of cazu marzu. It definitely doesn't look appetizing to me.
  3. Happy birthday.
  4. Happy birthday!
  5. Well, there really are instances on soap operas that cannot be real, but faked death is NOT one of them. There's also MIA, which is also quite feasible, at least for Aaron and Steven. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudocide http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missing_in_action
  6. Why not? It is an interesting theory, is it not? Your stories tend to have happy endings, so why would The Box be any different. Besides, people DO fake their own deaths, so it's not like it's totally unheard of. Rather it's an unlikely, but so is being in the midst of uprisings and/or riots in the US, France, and Russia (all three within one's lifetime). Oh, and I suppose that they'll be in the midst of the 9/11 attacks in the next story, no? See? All of these things are unlikely, so we should expect something unusual like people faking their own deaths. And didn't Tonto say she was hiding his secrets? What bigger secret than the one that Steve and Aaron are actually alive, albeit very old and likely to croak soon.
  7. I think Aaron is too headstrong for his own good, but that doesn't make him a bad person. What's really going to be sad is if and when we find out about his death in the story, or will we? Is it possible that they somehow faked their deaths and are living on some tropical island somewhere?
  8. Yeah, that's write. This is a place to post songs you absolutely cannot stand, that when you hear them you're like, "This song sucks of ass!" "I Love a Rainy Night" by Eddie Rabbitt is one of the worst songs ever. I hate it! "Mmm Bop" by Hanson... Some people love this song (Sorry Tarin), but I can't stand it! The song of theirs called "Weird" was alright though. And btw, I had to copy/paste from results, so I cannot guarantee that they're "good" versions of the songs, as if such things exist. And I ask the people be nice in this thread. If you love a song, that's fine and dandy. But everyone has songs that don't like, sometimes even ones that you do.
  9. Foolish Games by Jewel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9abuQVho5I Don't Take the Girl by Tim McGraw
  10. Spartacus from Spartacus: Blood and Sand is an awesome character. Andy Whitfield is not only hot. He's an awesome actor, and he's perfect in the role. Celie and Shug from The Color Purple... Whoopi Goldberg and Margaret Avery were awesome together in this movie. Edie Brit from Desperate Housewives was my favorite character. She was a strong woman and a slut and didn't care if you liked it or not. It's too bad they killed her off. She was awesome in my view. Tom Welling is hot in my view. He plays Clark on Smallville. He's easy to look at and he's great in his role. Before Michael C. Hall was Dexter, he was David Fisher in Six Feet Under. He's my quintessential gay character.
  11. I happen to think JJ and Darius will be straight and that Will is gay and has a massive cock.
  12. I agree wholeheartedly.
  13. I voted yes, but does it really matter if you have a little work done? She'd still be beautiful without it.
  14. Well, that was a hard choice, but I had to make it. I chose HMS Belvidera as the one I like best right now. I put 50/50 for the second question.
  15. And it was good. Now I'm wondering who's next.
  16. So I'm really divided on this. Some songs in two languages are good like Time to Say Goodbye, but there's also some songs in Japanese anime that are in Japanese and English. To me, they usually sound tacky. Am I the only one who has mixed feelings on songs that mix languages? I'll post my very favorite mixed-language song and one that I think is weird. I was trying to find one that's in English and German and one in Spanish and English, but I could not find them. Oh well. I also wanted to note that the first theme song for Naruto: Shippuden was alright, Weird song (English and Japanese): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8XcPQXsbH0&NR=1 Awesome song (Italian and German):
  17. Happy birthday!
  18. I happen to agree with Jeremy. What's not to love about Stefan? He's an awesome business man with a penchant for bagging hot straight guys. He also has a heart of gold for everyone he loves.
  19. I must admit that I watched it sometimes. I have always been a kid at heart. I was a teen when Pokemon was on.
  20. She's a piece of work. I can remember despising her in Be Rad. I'm sure everyone else feels the same way.
  21. It's in 3rd person, so I don't think it will switch POV.
  22. I can sing and play the alto saxophone. I can also write.
  23. I have no doubt that he's dead. While he will be greatly missed, it seems necessary for Justin. He must reach that understanding that comes from loss. It's sad. It's damn sad. Dylan is one of my favorite characters. I think this may be a turning point in the battle.
  24. Well, my list is probably atypical. Basically I consider anywhere from the 80's and before to be classic. However, I have to say most of favorites are from the 70's (and 80's by extension). Please include a Youtube link to your favorite song from each one! Metallica- If you want to talk about thrash metal, this band is famous for it. They are why I said most of my favorite rock bands are from the 70's. Metallica is from the early 80's. I could talk about all their songs from Kill 'Em All like "Seek and Destroy". Ride the Lightning kicked ass, especially with "Fade to Black" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls". One cannot forget Master of Puppets with the title track and "Sanitarium". Then of course, there's the self-titled album, affectionately known as The Black Album, which is perhaps their best album with songs such as "Enter Sandman", "Wherever I May Roam", "Sad but True", and "The Unforgiven". My favorite Metallica song of all is also from the self-titled album. It is called " ". Led Zeppelin- They were one of the first metal bands. Quite frankly they're revolutionary. Most people are familiar with "Stairway to Heaven" and "Kashmir", but there are many awesome Led Zeppelin songs. I have already mentioned my favorite, " ". I cannot forget songs like When the Levee Breaks (my second favorite), Over the Hills and Far Away, Heartbreaker, Black Dog, Rock and Roll, and "Trampled Under Foot". I list Led Zeppelin as my favorite, but Led Zeppelin is almost a Metallica for me. Rush- It's strange, but I didn't really hear much of them except "Tom Sawyer" for the longest time. I had only really heard them on a Kansas City radio station. When I moved to Texas, I found a rock station that played more than just one Rush song, and I've discovered that I like "Freewill", "Spirit of Radio", and "Xanadu" much better. My favorite of the three is " ". It's like I discovered another band that I absolutely love, which is awesome! Black Sabbath- This band, as far as I'm concerned, died when Ozzy was kicked out. "Iron Man", "Paranoid", and "N.I.B" are good tunes. My favorite is "War Pigs". I have to add some more Ozzy Osbourne tunes as well, because let's face it, the band went to shit when he left, and he's a rock god! "Mama I'm Coming Home" is definitely my favorite, but I also like "Crazy Train", "Shot in the Dark", "Bark at the Moon", and "No More Tears" among others. Pink Floyd- What's not to love about Pink Floyd? "The Wall" was a definitive rock album of the 1970's, and it includes my favorite song of theirs, " ". Another Brick in the Wall is awesome too! "Mother", "Young Lust", and "Money" are worth mentioning as well.
  25. That does sound like a good idea. As a writer, I love to read. I do have one of my older stories that could work. It's about 100k, but it's complete, at least for the first book. I am working on a much longer one, but it's no where near complete. I figure the stories are supposed to be complete. (A)
