Xander's owner, dkstories has given some great advice about coming out...I'll see if I can find it and forward it to you. But in essence, only come out when YOU are ready. You aren't 18 and if your mom has a bad reaction, you might be out on the street. And while you say Justin will take you in, since he doesn't even know that you are gay, he (or his folks) might have second thoughts about that. And keep in mind, not everyone is as accepting of the 'gay lifestyle' as we all are on GA. You know Justin best...Let him know when you are ready (which includes being ready for possible negative consequences), don't let anyone here sway you into coming out if you aren't ready. Or if you don't have a 'plan B' if people don't take it well. It sounds like there are other reasons you are angry with your mom, if you need to give her a reason, you can tell her about how it makes you feel when she hits you or when she yells at you for not putting away the bread, leaving the lights on, etc. Just another opinion. Dear Extremely Upset and Disappointed, To add to what Sharon said, Dom was just testing the waters with this first chapter of the story. TOSOM is very different from what we are used to getting from him and Dom wasn't even sure if he was going to release it to the masses. Based off of the initial positive feedback he's received, I believe Dom said he was going to post the story on his website and continue with it. And might I add - GA is setup as an interactive community. This is not just a place where the Authors do all the work and post their stories for our pleasure. Feedback from readers, editing by editors, donations from those who can afford to give, and work by volunteers are vital to the mission of GayAuthors. I don't think this was his intent, but if Dom putting the story in sneak peaks encourages lurkers to participate by making 5 posts to do so, good for the overall mission of GA. And as Sharon said, 5 posts is a small price to pay (and there isn't even a requirement that the 5 posts be of substance). Take Care, Vic P.S. - And for any Dom fans looking to help. While Dom probably gets plenty of feedback, there are a NUMBER of newer & rookie authors putting themselves out there in the eFiction section trying their hands at writing. Read their stories, rate them, and give them some constructive feedback. Who knows, they might be the next Domluka or dkstories.

Wow, this story is very 'different', my first thought when I read it - weird...but weird good Will Frank be nice to Oliver out of guilt at first? And even if they become one-on-one friends, Frank is new to the area and will be trying to make other new friends. What happens when those possible new friends find out he's hanging out with Oliver? Will they label him a 'freak' too? Lot's of uncomfortable situations coming up. Is this going to be a story about love & friendship? or just friendship? I'm hooked

Luke was one of my favorite Domluka characters, however there was one thing I would change about him... His curly blond hair.
