  1. “Whatever reason have is that, an explanation, not an excuse!” …you have. Her hair looked like she’d been to a salon wearing makeup and wore earrings and a necklace. She wore was a new women’s outfit with those pants and blouse open at the neck allowing me to see her neck. …to a salon, she was wearing makeup… …she wore a new women’s outfit… She said sadly to her own face that was made up, but looked at Colin and me. …sadly of her own face… “When Gabriella was a young woman, I told her a man could touch her until she was maybe forty.” …couldn’t touch her… I still don’t get why the real estate agent didn’t call or text with some kind of excuse, even if it was transparently a lie or extremely lame. How did he get the listing is he’s so incompetent? When you work with the public, there are certain minimal expectations no matter what you do. He wasn’t aware of Devon’s appearance or age before he arrived, very late, for his appointment. How is he keeping his job? And why did Devon call the Real Estate agent’s office and then never speak to anyone or finish the call?
  2. This is sweet and makes one smile.

Hi Puppilull, I think you managed very well to describe a threesome with it`s emotional layers and the problems to get a description without confusing the reader with six hands of male persons etc. I like the chapter , even I am thinking it maybe would have been better, if they had talked about this before it happened. But we will see what an impact it has on their relationship and it is a got start for a new thread of the story. I am curious about the next chapter.

    Chapter 3

I’m going to take credit for that! I told you I broke you! First I totally confused you with all my tangents on the discussions on LitLover’s Cravings/Choices, then I twisted your brain even further with our wildly nightmarish horror story tangents, and now I tease you with hidden features that you can’t use! ;-) [Where is that maniacal cackling coming from?]
  6. Now why does that sound almost like a political statement? ;-)

    Chapter 3

I don’t know, but I always find it frustrating to try to highlight something (to delete it, for example) on either my iPad or incredibly badly designed Android phone (my phone provider decided I hadn’t used it often enough and stopped providing any signal yesterday – WiFi still works, but otherwise it’s just a huge pocket watch for now).
  8. It explains many of the meltdowns in the candy aisle checkout line… My parents were never too guilty to spend more than their budget allowed. My parents bought stuff on sale and kept them for later need. My mother rationed out socks and underwear throughout the year, at need. My mother sewed us (non-underwear) t-shirts as well as many of her own clothes. But that was back in the stone age when no one had ever heard of designer labels except for the extremely wealthy (and they didn’t flaunt the logos and brands). But my mother didn’t want us running around in cutoff jeans like everyone else in the mid- to late-‘70s – ours were always hemmed properly!
  9. My mother and father’s favorite answer to that question was, “It’s too expensive! We can’t afford it!” (One young mother I recently mentioned that to was shocked and seemed sincere when she asked, “You can do that?”)

What!!!! You can’t spoil the rest of the story by answering all my questions here and now? What kind of an author are you? ;-)
  11. I noticed a Sibelius opera named Kullervo comes up on the same youtube page... Since this is an overture, I assumed it was for a stage work as well.

You can also highlight specific sections. A little ‘Quote this’ will pop up, clicking on it will put that section in a quote. (I was surprised to find this feature.) You can use either or both multiple times in one message if you want to include more than one quote. Even readers are allowed to post multiple messages (if it’s not a bug that they haven’t gotten around to crushing).

If Scott is only a ‘Person of Interest,’ it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the target of the investigation (although it could mean that he is, but they aren’t ready to charge him yet). They could be looking at bigger fish than Scott. They have to know he stopped dealing a while ago, and might even be aware of the reason. If they are trying to catch his source, he might be able to work out a deal with the authorities for some sort of extended Probation in exchange for testimony. I’m sure he’d have several Feigenbaum crew members who would willingly vouch for him. They can certainly attest to the fact he hasn’t been using, they kept him too busy, and there were too many people around for him to have kept anything secret for long.

    Chapter 3

Call him? Why? Because he found out that ‘it’ isn’t as tight and he wants Corey to let him do it even after Brett dumped him?

“I did love and after feedings when I had time afterwards.” Is this still referring to bathing, or has Colin switched to romantic feelings? The hotel look into it as was going to move his things for him. Would look into it? “Cousin!? The your wife and you were cousins!?” Then. You guys were breed to think you are superior!” Bred. So many new things and experiences! ;-) And, naturally, South Carolina’s best Mercedes salesperson promotes his favorite brand! ;-)

Hi, this is a very sweet chapter. A warm home and good friends as a haven.

Because you star in them every time you comment on these tangents? ;-)

    Chapter 13

But would you have made the leap to Liam and Marty becoming boyfriends before I twisted your brain with all those tangents in the discussions? ;-)

Out of the frying pan and into the fire! Why were the State Police there to pick Scott up? And how did Kenny find him? Do the State Police know about Kenny? (If they’s sent Kenny to look for him, they certainly wouldn’t have just left Kenny on the ship.) What will Graham do when Scott isn’t there? Cookie will know he paid him early and let hm leave, but no one saw him after that. Will they connect him with the two ‘well-dressed individuals’? They’ll also know Kenny was looking for him, but didn’t find him. ;-)

    Chapter 13

I did it!!! I broke hoho!!! ;-) Liam needed a break from all the stress he’d been under. Now if this were that cheesy teenage horror movie we talked about, Marty would get drunk and with his loosened inhibitions, get naked with Liam and start to experiment with long suppressed feelings. The power would go out in a sudden thunderstorm, as they do in these things, and Liam and Marty would have to go check the circuit box while still naked, as you do in these things. When they finally find the circuit box (remember they’re drunk), there’s a flash of lightning! Brilliantly lighting up the area! Behind them while they struggle to figure out why the power still won’t turn on, we see what they can’t! ;-)
  22. This one's for you, Lux! I'm just listening to it right now for the first time, and thinking this overture has elements you may like
  23. The poem is wonderful! Souls never die. A soul is most visible in the interaction with others. One can say, a little part of our soul wanders to all the persons we have an impact on and makes there a new home. And from there it takes new journeys. After all I read yesterday and today in all your lovely poems and comments for Skinnydragon, I have seen immortality. I am impressed. Hug you!
