I chose French.

It's a question of personal taste, I think. I'm not so fond of school stories, for instance. I just can't get into them. I'm too old probably. And I don't like very long chapters. I stop reading them, unless the story really fascinates me. I just lack the patience.

I chose 'not telling' and 'ask me' for there are no other options I can fully identify with. Gender and sex are a complex topic. I have not yet found a label which would describe me correctly. And I don't feel the need to justify myself. If you are truly interested in knowing me better you can: ask me. I'm from Germany. I don't believe in the biblical apocalypse. I don't take this text literally. But I'm always interested in stuff like this. Your project sounds interesting. I truly would like to tead it.

I need not hide. You could phone me and easily verify all the details I gave away about me and my life. I just think our conversation would be hard since my spoken English is much worse than my written English. I now and then stumble across posts that I think are fake posts. I ignore these posts. I don't really care.

I usually type. I wrote on paper only twice.

I speak German and English. I also learned Spanish. Unfortunately, I have forgotten a lot. I'm able to read French and understand written texts, more or less.

I agree with paya. I think it's time to tell K all you know. I then would refuse to talk to A, K and M for some time. I would wait and see how things work out. It's not your business, after all. You can only lose. They could make you the scapegoat for telling, for not telling, for interfering in their affair, etc. People tend to blame others for their mistakes. Better stay out of their business.

I was thinking. None of the main characters of any of my stories is a historical character, except Patroclus who reveals the story of Achilles in the first part of my trilogy Love Story - A Greek Tale. This story is based on historical characters, but the plot is entirely fictitious. If that story was based on the movie, you could refer to my story as a typical fan fiction slash story. This, however, was not my intention. The story is not based on the movie. I mentioned Napoleon in two of my stories. But he wasn't a character I focused on. Those stories were just set in Napoleon's time. My character Cagliostro from my story The Path I have Chosen is based loosely on the real person Count Alessandro di Cagliostro. But, except of the name and their interest in occultism, my character and the real Cagliostro have nothing in common. I stated that clearly in the disclaimer of said story. Disclaimer: None of these stories and none of my other stories uploaded to GA are based on any work that was written by another author. Characters and plot of any of my stories are entirely fictitious. According to Dusk Peterson, my stories could be termed 'original slash', as could be termed most of the stories uploaded to GA. This term, however, is not widely used. So, my stories are better termed 'homoerotic fiction' in case they focus on same-sex relationships. I uploaded a few short stories (Flash Fiction) to eFiction that do not focus on same-sex relationships. These stories are 'general fiction'. Like Lugh stated, slash deals primarily with fan fiction. And, like Kevin said, a story involving a relationship between two males that an author creates would not be (fan fiction) slash because they are the author's original creations. Edit to add: I forgot my entry to the Fall Anthology. Hadrian and Antinous are historical characters. But this story is also not based on any work written by another author. Sorry for the confusion.

The books written by Swiss author Hans-Dieter Leuenberger definitely changed my life.

I read an interesting book some time ago. The author's advice is to recline any invitations etc. when a guy wants to date you. Be busy, be occupied, don't have time to see him. Thus he's getting desperate and longing. Finally, he'll do whatever you want. Perhaps this guy has read the book? Perhaps you alter your tactics? But, please, do not blame me if things get worse.

It's nothing uncommon to see two girls - regardless of sexual orientation - hugging, embracing and kissing on the cheeks (at least in Europe). People are used to it and don't feel uncomfortable. They are less used to see hugging and kissing boys.

I usually start with Wiki also. Then I do further online research, I sometimes read novels from the era or I read biographies. I love to read letters written in previous times - many letters are published or can be found online. Sometimes I watch movies. I do love to research.
