Take life a day at a time. Start looking up all the gay friendly colleges, definitely ask ppl here what they think? Plan to goto college when the economy is better. There are many students that are finding out their parents can't afford it this year or next year. You can also take community college courses. In fact a lot of students are doing so but the problem is the college having the resources to meet demand. I hope you have been doing sports or any other things that colleges look for. Consider building that portfolio. I hope you have a GAY friend or GAY Friendly friend that you can talk to and share how you are doing. Sometimes its just needing a few warm hugs to brighten your day. Volunteering or helping out - doing something a bit unpredictable - to break the same old routine.

I always hated how the white man and their religion to come in an invade someone homeland. But it seems to be that fact of life prior to Columbus and it was only a matter of time to happen to the new world. In a satire called "Little Big Man", the elder believe the white man to be the savages and they were the human beings. I am not sure how the indians treated gays but from the movie they seem to be accepted as human beings. I suppose it varies from tribe to tribe. I bet just like in our world we can have quacks and fake Holy Men so can their people. But To find one man to believe in the stories handed down from generation to generation gives honor to their heritage. To have that man to continue to pass on the history of their people to another chosen one gives life to their people. Its sad to have our christian beliefs take away someone elses and corrupt their way of life. There is so much history loss and we don't know as well as to truly understanding their culture and religion. The scene plays out perfectly fine. Not too wordy. Very much to the point. I think I've been accused of being wordy and lots of other things. The hardest thing is knowing when part of a scene should be a summary or a dialog or an action sequence. I guess thats why we have beta readers or editors. I think from my last lesson from David , its when the major characters aren't involved with each other or it has little to do with the focus of the story or TMI vs Story. The only thing I can say is stay in the shoes of the story teller, ...Telling a whale of a tale that keeps the other sailors buying you your free drink or meal. ...Telling the most scariest stories that keeps the other boy scouts fueling the camp fire ...Telling the most saddest stories that would make a grown man cry etc if you delivered those tales that make people interested in it Then I Happy that you did it

you can always work on short story fantasy stories. you could also try to plot out a fantasy story as a series of short stories. Ultimately, with experience, your stories will become larger and more challenging. hehehe, Drawings may help convey your ideas about the scene or the story you wish to write about that also will help guide you as well as a storyline they do it in the making of a movie I think David would love to see drawings of his characters. It would make a wonderful present to him as to pay homage to what he has written. Thats just an idea I am throwing out there.

hmmm, I think a negotiator be better but who can afford one. Communication goes both ways. A common language and a common understanding. It sounds like it take two to work at it. hehe, I knew you could not be writing up a storm in every part of the fantasy universe. But I do understand that all the chapters are going through Quality Assurance (a polishing) before being published. We have a long way to go before we get into the meat of the "Translator" story where the thick of the fantasy world starts. As opposed to other fantasy stories that puts you right into the thick of things. Example: The Hobbit (cartoon or book) was a splendid intro into the Tokien world. But if you dove into the Three books skipping the hobbit, you be in thick into the Tokien world. Probably the same issue with the sumaritan book too. I also wonder if one has never read the Tokien world. But is familiar with the King Arthur. Would they make it throught the thick of the Tokien world? (without cliff notes) I also presume as many people share in that talk of the story - more will learn about its world - so will the author too (thats generally speaking) I guess this also why I tend to throw questions that is specific to the story or the characters or issues or event or objects in the story - curiosity in such a fantastic story or world.
