about 4 years ago in NYC - i decided to visit Greenage Villiage and the park built on top of a pier near the village. Saw nothing gay about it except plenty of bars and eating places. The park was the best thing. Kinda reminds me of all seals bunch up in pods. All mix of people. Nothing to worry there. If girls or guys or st8 are making out or just sunning themselves - it was paradise. Never saw any one pick up any body. No one bother me. It felt good. Now try that in central park. Thats another story. Side note for Separation - there was a topic - NYC has someone called it the Milk High School - I didn't know it was referring to Harvey Milk. A Gay HS that opened up in 1984. Eight years too late for me. Hey if I had one in my time. I'd go. I suspect bulling should be less in that school compared to a str8 school. I hear Illinois is considering starting one too. ---- I remember watch QAF a while back and also seeing some of the Gay parades on TV around new years. My reaction was that it was too gay for me. My feelings for that is because there is too much persecution riding on my reaction of how homophobes beats their will into me. So I be afraid to be caught by a homophobe.

I basically writeformyself and if I do get a comment or feed back it sort of challenges me to expand my story. If I don't get any feed back. I just come back to the story some time later - and - try to see if I made any boo boos. And I can say I'm still blind to them. I do thank my editor profusely. Otherwise - the story would sit for a long while before I come up with enough courage to post it. One of the other reasons why I would let a story sit - is to see - when I come back to read the story - I ask myself - Did I enjoy the story I read?

Isn't she lucky to have a progressive minister? But then the audience has their minister and pastors that would take a part the story and how anti- or pro they can be. The bigger damage can be from bad ones and there is nothing stop that. Lifetime might lose some audience. Another issue are those that likes to protest against anything - just hope that there isn't going to something negative against lifetime. Sure I like to have another story to be aired. More education of the public is needed.

Rick has gotten Drew to see for himself what James is all about. Of course Drew is curious of Ricks intentions and what underhandedness that james may have. Rick motive is definitely purely independent of the group. The group decided that since Drew was hurt then James is an outcast of the group. Rick I believe is showing that you can't judge a book by its covers. Its like how can you judge someone for one digression. (or can teenagers understand - that they make a lot of mistakes more than adults.) I think Rick also wants to see what kind of person James is really about. I think Drew will learn a lesson from the very least - learning to forgive a person. Still the question is how much does Drew know about James. Drew is changing because of Rick. So there is a chance that Rick will open up Drews eyes about the treatment of other people. In many ways - I can identify myself with Rick. I rather know someone more than to judge superfically. In some ways - its easy for me to drop out of how group thinks. I think I tend to check up on people thats not having fun at a party for example. Try making a friend. I like to know sort of who is a friend or a foe. So does Rick. Its been two weeks and Rick still hasn't made a friend thats outside the group. It sounds unfair for a group to decide who your friends should be. If this is one of many steps that Rick is trying to make friends and letting Drew know that he's not being unfaithful then at least its a start of a healthy relationship as mates. Gosh it seems unfair that if Drew is jealous of every guy Rick meets. Like what if they were all straight - Drew would be constantly jealous over nothing. On the other hand, Rick will learn which people are homophobic and who are not. That maybe a deciding factor of a friend or foe for Rick to learn. Already he's learning to get over his reactions to gay people. I do hope in the end that people learn what a great guy Rick is rather than think in the mindset of a gang.

I kinda know the feeling that you and Bobby felt - I have many times had similar thoughts. Its not easy to talk about it. Its hard to see what life will bring. One of my brothers made me promise I not kill myself. I been good at that promise. But life still has been hard and lonely. For Bobby, seeing his family being against Gay - really hard a big toll - even the shrink was hard on him. I do hope your ability to reach out to the Bobby Types is fruitful to let them know that there are real people that willing to listen and help.

The kid also looked sad but was happier after the hug. So in another way - the hug was needed for both of them. (three of them) I agree plain and simple. She ran into a more progressive pastor. It could have been worst if the pastor hated gays. If that where the case - she be in conflict for the lost of her son and Bigotry. Moving forward it made things better for the younger folk. But for us older folk - we still struggle - I have to say its not quite a fair world.

Its nice to have all these categories My issue is that the GA Interface doesn't lend it self to allow me to view the stories in each category. It be the risk of my own luck that I did leave a review for the story as a marker. But then I would miss a story in that category that I had not read.

Interesting question ... Looking at what sums up my life and where it is ... I have to say NO It won't take away all the bad things in my life- nor take away the suffering - and - like Pinocchio - make me into a regular person. And it won't give me a partner I would love for the rest of my life.

Nice funny premise. But again - there are lots of movies with a similar premise like ( Home of Phobia , GayDar ) Of course I notice that the term be discussed at length in GA but I find it interesting that its been around since 1992. Maybe someone will make a movie called "getting your GayDar fixed!!" or "Aren't you blind without your Gaydar?" I wonder what types of people will come to see this genre of film. I understand if this movie came out in the 50s-70s there be an almost no show. More so in the 50s. I have those days. I sometimes have to figure what up with me. Sometimes you have to be a switch hitter. Maybe today is not to writing day for your your story. Its maybe time to write something else like Graeme suggests. That I do a lot. Or I sketch out bits and pieces of stories. Maybe all together - its not a writing day. There's something on your mind or on your bodies mind. You have to figure it out. Once you figure it out then writing comes out. Other ideas, maybe think about your favorite space. The perfect place. Example: your swimming meets or practices Try imagining your writing space just like your swim meets - putting yourself in the perfect place to play. or in this case write.

Hey in seventh grade history class - this skinny Irish kid loves to embarrass me by having me rub his bare forearm. I'm not sure if anyone caught the multiple incidents. It certainly got me worried enough to stop after a while. Too bad nothing else further happen. Weird closet case incident. He certainly had a cute smile and plenty of freckles. Hey I think you got another fan here. My nephew is 3 years younger than you. And I like his stuff. Yours is good too. Treat your humanities with as much passion equally. Keep on practicing. Its just playing another kind of story. Go with the flow. When you play its just you the author and the story your writing or playing. Nothing else should be there in your perfect place. I like it. I notice what you said at the 2:10 - 2:30 mark. You know mistakes can be part of the story too. Maybe you could write a story about a pianist thats composing a piece of music plus drama of your choice.

I drive a Subaru Forester 2003. It suppose to be great on gas mileage compared to other suv. My eye is on a Saturn Vue Hybrid 2009 that if one day I get a job. Maybe I might have to wait for the plugin model. hehe by that time - GM\Saturn probably merge with one of the big 3.
