  1. Robbie wants his reputation back, along with the status/limelight that goes with being a much sought after movie producer. That's ok. He just doesn't know how to get there, or get back there. You can get in touch with young adults without having sex with them. It does make for a sexy story though. I'm looking forward to the next "month".
  2. Yes, I'm also pleased that Brad is back in the saddle on this one. I agree with all the posters above who have given the thumbs down sign on Brad and Matt getting together. Yes, it would be hot...but not a great idea. Of course, mark gave the best reason....Sharon. Besides, Mark's never been at a loss in finding viable match-ups. Hooked from the get-go....again. Mind you, I seem more interested in Brad's business challenges than Robbie's mid-life escapades. We need a volunteer to go back and review the relevant stories to see who the mystery financier is - the one stalking Brad now. I appreciate it may not be someone we've met already...but you never know. I'm too lazy to volunteer.
  3. And here I thought you'd suck at relationship stories. I'm really enjoying the technical content of this story....car heisting, lock picking... My kind of story. Jake's a survivor. He wants to get himself straightened around before he'll even consider putting the moves on Corey. But being around Corey is still good for him. How about Jake's dad coming down with a terminal case of swine flu!
  4. She is one lucky young lady. Granted her sailing skills likely helped to keep her alive, neverthelwss, she is still one lucky young lady. The world needs risk takers. She certainly qualifies in that department.
  5. Fantastic story, Mark! Given all the circumstances, I had no trouble whatsoever in accepting Tom's decision. It was his decision to make. Was it a selfish decision? Of course it was. He couldn't conceive his life with Pete having to endure another round of chemotherapy. At the very least, it was honest.
  6. I was looking for a story with a good dose of orbital mechanics. I suppose there wasn't a good explanation for Jeff to be wearing a speedo up there in the space hotel. An excellent story, CJ. This was not a cliffhanger. It was a nailbiter.
  7. Joel's need to shop makes me laugh. Another reason why Lisa loves him so much. In the next chapter, I think Trevor's going to hear from Joel about all the potential problems that their Canadian hosts raised.....submerged logs, pirates, weather...good grief. If Trevor decides to carry on (and he will)Joel may decide to hang in there with him. Which would be great. Joel is so cool and my favourite character.
  8. This is a fascinating agrument, uhmmm, discussion. Keeping the human element in the game versus getting the call right. Personnally, I'm all for getting the call right, particularly in regard to this particular play. But I must say I don't want a machine calling strikes and balls. Besides, the home plate umpire makes other calls as well. The issue for me here is are they being consistent in their strike zone. One thing I know for sure, I would not like to be videotaped 24/7 when doing my job. That would totally suck. Even I have off days. So, who's excited about right-hander Stephen Strasburg getting his first major league start tomorrow night with the Nationals?
  9. Stay thirsty! Conner
  10. Happy Birthday, Mark!!!
  11. That was a fun chapter. Thanks, CJ! Every gay boy should have a friend like Joel.
  12. Speaking of the Phillies - Mets thingy, guess who has a weekend series this weekend? Probably the most interesting series this weekend. It's in Philly. Tonight's game is looking like a Mets victory. Well, it is the bottom of the 9th and the score is 9 - 1 for the Mets and 2 out. Mets have really turned themselves around. The Phillies are a better team, though.
  13. Speaking of the Phillies, they stole Roy Halladay from my Blue Jays. <sobs yet again > He's 4 - 0 already for the Phillies with a 0.82 ERA. I'm beginning to think he likes being in Philly. What's up with that??? I think he wants to win a World Series ot something.
  14. Yup, yup! Justin is another BC boy. Born right here in the Vancouver lower mainlamd. Other Canadians include Jeff Francis, Eric Bedard, Shawn Hill, Russ Martin, and Rick Harden. Francis and Harden are also BC boys. Russ Martin (catcher for LA Dodgers)is from Chelsea, Quebec. Quebecers are big baseball fans. May the Expos rest in peace.
  15. Let's all sing the Barney song for the Boston Red Sox. "I love you. You love me. We're a happy family."
  16. Speaking of Canadians, Jason Bay is also Canadian...not only that, he's from BC. Guess which team is missing Jason a whole bunch right now? Jason hit 36 HR's and 119 RBI's for this team in 2009. Jason is now with the Mets.
  17. Joey Votto is Canadian, eh!!! From Toronto.
  18. Fun, fun chapter, as have been the last several chapters with Trevor and Joel together. Forget Lisa, I say. Although she is a sweetheart and a loyal and devoted friend. I know Joel and Trevor will never happen but (sigh) they're so great together. Goat cheese??? Yuk! Horrible stuff. Nothing personal, CJ. Cheese can be constipating. Good thing Joel got all that beer. I'm worried that Trevor could well fall in love with his best buddy. Great writing, CJ. I've been to Italy, but mostly in the north - Milan. I did spend some time in Florence and Rome....where I od'd on art. Easy to do, believe me. So, to sum it all up, I have very mixed feelings about Trevor and Joel being together. I really can see them together. Joel seems so relaxed over it all. As Trevor pointed out, Joel has more (stereotypical) gay behaviours than Trevor does. Well, I can still dream, I suppose.
  19. Happy B-Day, Jordan!!
  20. Joe! Joe! It's always been Joe!!
  21. Happy B-Day, Billy!!! You're too kool for Cleveland!
  22. If I offered fondling, I'd be a pervert.......ok, I'm offering fondling too! Happy B-Day, O Kool one!
  23. <does the Snoopy happy dance> Congrates Canada on winning the hochey gold! The USA team was incredible...tying the game with 24 seconds left. What an ending! I love you, Sydney Crosby! Thanks, Jack, for the acknowledgement. These games were not without its blunders. As they say, all's well that ends well. I'm very proud to be Canadian at this moment.
  24. Given the evidence Granger has indicating that the Portuguese are up to something - something not good for England - I don't really think Granger has much of a choice here but to pursue it. And as someone has already pointed out Wilcox will crap all over him for disobeying orders. Hopefully, in the end, it will be Wilcox with egg on his face. Besides, following orders is just so boring. So the Cavendish lad can kiss with the best of them and has a sweet ass...AND a big dick. How do you beat that combination?
  25. Chapter 11 was scrumptious! The scene between Granger, Howard and Wilcox was excellent. Go Granger! Go boy! :2hands: Granger has (yet another) new lover! He just can't seem to stop himself. Granger will have to be careful here. Cavendish doesn't have the maturity of Travers or Calvert. He's much more vulnerable to being hurt. Such is the nature of love, I suppose. The teasing scene between Granger and Winkler was hilarious! Go Winkler!
