So Grey is a God, Dave may be a God, Mark possibly is a God, if he still exists; and Clara is the Wise One. Okay, this all makes perfect sense now. I don't know why I did not see it before. Clara at least seems to be developing a little bit of a sense of humor and is more accepting of the situation. A floating heart with golden pulses and the two necklaces just floating there. Speaking in an ancient tongue asking for help and saying thank you; but you know, help is always given to those that ask for it and try and help themselves. Color be rainbow confused.

I do understand Clara's anger but there was really nothing else to do, it was watch him die or try and change him. Grey made the right decision; but will it be so in the end. Dave has gotten control of his wolf really fast; is that because of his supernatural ability to start with or in spite of it? Is the Labyrinth trying to help them or repel them. I am still upset about the death, but we will see what happens.

Ah Granger is best when he has a challenge; and dealing with Lord St Vincent will definitely be a challenge. Even if the trip is short and shouldn't be to burdensome; you just know something will happen? Perhaps the French fleet will attempt an invasion while they have the First Lord aboard. I think the fact that Granger does so much for the men on this ship, not the officers, but the seaman says so much about him. Most Captains in that age did little to benefit the actual sailors. Granger care just as much about each of them as he does his retainers or those that work on the land that he owns. He truly does posses the best of his class and breeding. Loved the interlude with the children. I think they are already developing into interesting characters. William is such a young gentleman. Charlotte is a total flirt, but one with a brain, I think. Alexander is a daredevil. And Elizabeth is the only one that seems a little unformed; but her age accounts for that. George knows how important it will be for Calvert to made a good impression not just on those in the navy but beyond. Arranging a tailor to get these uniforms ready say more than most would realize about how much he cares for Calvert. I wonder who I would have to bribe to have them bathe them in acid so that Calvert could suffer a horrible death? just an idea... Winkler knows that Calvert makes George happy; but God help him if he makes him unhappy, Winkler might find other things to snip besides his hair. Can't wait to see what happens next.

OMG, is Will going to end up sleeping with the Thorpedo??? JJ is fabulous on damn near every level. I am so glad he talked to Kevin. And Kevin made a hell of a lot of sense. There is no guarantees in life other than you will pay taxes and you will eventually die. Everything else is up in the air. Sometimes you need to be organized and plan things out, but Kevin is right, sometimes you just go with the flow and enjoy the time or the person you are with. JJ needs to stay out of his head and just enjoy his time with Kris. JJ has his "work" with Mode and his other life really under control, let Kris take some control and enjoy their time together. Kris does strike me as very organized and is able to segment his life well. He will maybe be able to help JJ do that as well; and JJ can give him some help with other areas. Will is too funny. He just blows the idiot off and does what he needs to do for those that appreciate what he can help them with. Marie knows him so well; she and probably the rest understands how much he truly misses Travis. I am glad that she will be with Will at Harvard. It will help him deal with how much he will miss Travis; unless Travis decides to head to New York and try his hand on the stage. Stef is fabulous as well, loved the bit about he doesn't go to someone they come to him; and he is right, it is so JJ. Cant wait to see what happens next. Mark, hope your trip was great and you had some good family and down time. So glad you are back...

An exceptional story and one that I will we had a sequel to it. If any story deserved one it was this one. I truly miss DKstories and his many gifts to this site, he and Trebs were truly a wonderful couple.

Glad that Gavin made the first move and forced the issue with Dalen. Selenay will be ready.

Oh Hell no, not the Bard...

So much going on; and all this building has to be good not just for the local economy but the whole country. Hate that some went hungry, but both sides will get some blame for that.

Dalen was able to help and they won; at least this battle. But, he needs to start taking care of himself, if he wants to make it to 50. Bart the King's Own, Dalen the heir, and Dell the king.

From the skillet into the fire, so to speak.

Subvert the enemy in ways that they don't really understand.

Dalen needs to learn the extent of his abilities and not overdo them so much. He can do more damage to himself than he realizes.

A brilliant, well executed plan done with a minimal loss of life. Dalen did what he had to do, but he will worry about it later when he has time.

The Hearthstone is powerful beyond measure. But can it be left without some direction if they all get the heralds out?

Dalen may have overplayed his hand somewhat here; but I am sure the look on that fool's face was worth it. Dalen and his mother need to have another long talk. She was wrong but perhaps for all the right reasons.

Dalen knows the truth, and so will others; but will it do any good?

Dalen got lucky that the guard was someone that knew him and could be trusted. And he got lucky that he travelled with a family that was good honest folks that spoke their mind.

Dalen is going into the breach, let's hope he can fix the issues. Whenever they start talking about changing all the basic structures that make up what a country is; you know they are up to no good.

An honorable act of an honorable man. Dalen has grown more while in the space between then even he realizes. And he has finally been chosen, we all knew it was coming but still.
