I am glad that Agrell's sacrifice was able to save Dozi. She died protecting those she cared about; and as long as they remember and honor her memory, she will never be fully gone. Just truly sad...

Another victim of hate and prejudice; Agrell has given her life to save others it appears, pray that it was not in vain.

Damn those religious zealots to the darkest deepest level of hell. They are evil and must all die. Agrell is willing to give her own life to save others, she has evolved to be the best she can be. Let's all cross our fingers that there is some way she survives; truly hate to lose her like this; there is so much more to be done.

Wayne has to learn to defend himself better; he doesn't need to have Mark's prowess right away, but he can't be a liability. Mark is going to end up getting hurt trying to protect Wayne. I reread this one twice; so did someone take the fire engine after they came by previously? If so, we know there are at least some other survivors out there in the area. Never doubt the importance of touch; even something that isn't sexual but just friendship or assuring is vitally important. There are plenty of studies that validate that fact. Can't wait to see what happens next; they need to get the solar up but maybe even before that, some kind of fencing or blockade to prevent the dead from just sneaking up on them. Really well done chapter.

So glad that the Old Principal Messiah died a painful horrible death; too bad it was lessened in any way. The New Principal Messiah is as nuts as the old one was. Why are those steeped in religious fervor always idiots???

What fresh hell is coming for this poor group thru the ceiling??? I am sure the Messiah will not just take a loss laying down; but can this group not even just bury their dead without being tormented again? Agrell has to know that until those she are trying to help can get to know her; they are going to see what she did as evil, even though she was forced through the process. You would think a group that faced discrimination would not discriminate; but I have found that is rarely the case. Let's hope the the groups of those that want harmony between the bio-shifts and the humans can win the fight for acceptance of their fellows.

So glad that Dozi found this group; I hope she does march. That being said, I don't think the Messiah's will take kindly to being viewed in a negative manner. They truly believe they are the next evolution of humanity, and no one like that wants to think they are wrong. Dozi really has formed a family unit with Ilya and Agrell; I hope they know how important that truly is. Can't wait to see where this story goes.

They are taking the fight to the Messiah's; let's hope they are successful. I am glad that Lahari has accepted Agrell for what she is; maybe the rest will as well.

Hate to say it but the Demifae got what they deserved; this group betrayed who they are to a bunch of religious fanatics; that is unforgivable. I hope this group that is attacking the Messiah does them considerable damage. Could our girls be part of the group that is attacking? Where did the blue rays come from? So much going on and we need more answers....

Pamela was so brave; she realized that all she could do to help anyone was draw those things away from people while she still was in her right mind. Bob was brave in a way as well; he did what he could to contain his wife and once there was someone there to deal with her, he chose his end as well. Having the solar, if they can get it working would be a huge advantage. Hope they can get the rest of their stuff back at their place and get it back to Bob's. Wayne finally knows that he can fight back if he has to; but Mark needs to help him learn how to fight better. Mark fights with precision and waste little energy while doing so; Wayne was out of control to some extent and it took a lot out of him, in a protracted fight, that could be the end of him.

Those that act nefariously will allow move in the shadows; the group that opposes them must move in the light. I am so glad that Lahari came to the girls for help. Not sure that this new group will be able to stand up to the baddies; but here is hoping.

Aunt Peg is fabulous... I am so glad that the mystic introduced Agrell to her. She helped Agrell just by validating her choice in leaving. They both share a tragic story. I think Lahari either needs help or they have discovered that the Demifae and the Messiahs are hooking up...

So the stupid and the blind are joining forces; why do I feel that this will be a disaster for all? Zealotry is rarely to never a good thing; it usually signals ignorance and hate.

The truth about Agrell comes out because she saved Theolan's life. But Lahari may not be able to accept what she learned; Agrell needs to understand that for some her becoming Messiah no matter how it happened will not be forgivable. Would hope that Lahari would have accepted what Agrell did because she did so without realizing what was going on; plus she did save Theolan. Honestly, would have expected a little more from her. Just a great chapter...

This was simply fabulous... Three perfect contestants and a perfect idea for a show. Loved all three rounds and the recipes seemed to be inspired. I wish you had included the recipes that they made, especially the taco mac-n-cheese, sounds heavenly. These are three great secondary characters that deserved a little more attention. They bring so much to each of the stories but even though they have their moments, they are mostly relegated to the background. Just love how these are playing out, Bravo....

Well written and nicely paced. An interesting vignette that might be the start of something more. I am unfamiliar with the original work that is referenced so can only go off what is here. A sweet moment of possibility enhanced by characters that are engaging and fascinating.

Well written and it flowed very nicely. This was a lovely vignette but since I am unfamiliar with the story it is based on; can't comment how it fits with that. Having said that, the story was sweet and has a sort of what might be air about it. Well done; so much in such a short interlude.

How horrible; had no good feelings about the hunters but Talin seemed like he might have been able to be turned. Such disregard to human life and suffering is what turned people against the Shifts, now it might get worse. Plus, not everyone will realize that they were Demifae and may believe that she filled plain humans. Such brutality never serves a real purpose. Some will say it was justified but others will look at it with horror and know it wasn't. She could have killed them without torturing them.

Dozi wants to be more than just human; what she doesn't realize is that she already is. Her taking in Agrell and helping Ilya shows she is more than so many of those around her. Agrell and Lahari had a talk and they both understand each other and their respective worlds better now. Agrell knew enough not to reveal that she is a Messiah; but that will come out. I feel better about the mystic and his husband. They do care about their daughter and he came to realize after his daughter began her change how wrong what he was doing was.

Wayne's good heart is needed but it might well get them killed. In a world gone mad; you have to realize that you and who you are with come first; and you have to do what you have to do to protect yourself and them. Pamela was able to at least give them some information; and her turning will provide them with more, but damn what a way to go. Imagine seeing her brother and mother kill her father. What was causing the smell? Was it what started this; or was it something they were doing to try and stop it and now that it is out of control, the smell has stopped? Wayne and Mark need to each focus what they are good at; but they need to learn what each of them can teach each other as well so that if anything happens to the other, they can try and move forward. Should they be looking for others that are okay or wait a while? So many questions.......

Let's hope that Dozi's place can be fixed. The three of them need a place to retreat to and have some protection from the elements. They will also have to figure out the food situation some as well. Ilya seems to be getting better; maybe her abilities allow her to heal faster. You have to think they will cross paths with the hunter's; but could the hunters be turned from their path; not easily surely, but is it possible? Do the hunters know about the underground city? I do wish we knew more about what caused the explosion.

Talin cares about his people, more than his leaders do. It makes him sympathetic but his hate for those that he views as monsters renders that moot. If he could be shown that they are not monsters; would he like Agrell turn on his leaders?

So many lost in the undercity. I wish we knew what had happened and why, of course, don't guess that really matters. So much death among a group that is already exiled and isolated. Agrell just keeps jumping into things that might come back to bite her, she need to be more cautious. Did they sense Agrell or is there someone else? Did Dozi try and follow?

What a real delight, and I want to know who is coming up with these game shows, too funny. Shea and Cyn are so sweet and Cyrus and Kaplan are just so solid. Can't wait for the next update.
