  1. Dozi, Ilya, and Tchama may well have been better served going to see Aunt Peg. They might have gotten a warning of what has happened while the group was gone and been more prepared for what could be coming. I am so happy that Ninyani was able to bond with this group. I hope that he is able to grow with them in wisdom and love. His powers will mark him as dangerous by some once they are known; but let's hope he gets to big young for a little while longer. They men and Lahari will do what they can to protect him and nurture him; as will his other new found friends.
  2. I understand the need to strike back at the Messiah for all the harm that they have caused; but these three are doing it in a way that is guaranteed to bring the heaviest response against all the bio-shifts. Some of the bio-shifts will not be able to defend themselves as well as these three can and will die because of the actions of this miniscule group that is acting without taking into account how the retaliation will effect all. I understand that in general the Messiah are evil; but Agrell were not; she came to realize that the actions of the Messiah were wrong, as have others. To strike blindly without plan or purpose but just to kill and destroy is honestly as bad or worse to me than what the Messiah do. Many bio-shifts will die or be injured because of the actions of their so called brethren.

    Chapter 1

Caden did not seem that happy to start with; he indicated that he had plans for his money but there was no real joy in his thoughts. I do hope that someone at least reports that he is missing; since none of guest were aware where or when he went missing it might not help alot, sort of wonder when they will realize he is gone? Will anyone report him missing or will they just try and go on with their party without him? What ocean were they in? Nice start and the art was excellent.
  4. An eye-for-eye and tooth-for-tooth would lead to a world of the blind and toothless.
  5. I hope they are able to get out without a disturbance. It is sad that the villagers and Dozi's family turned on them; with the knowledge of Ninyani they could have helped the village and have maybe prevented some of the children from being taken. Hate and fear only bring problems; never solutions...
  6. Unfortunately, all these bio-shifts are proving is they are as savage and heartless as the Messiah's themselves. Actions like this never even the score; only bring about more death and retribution.
  7. Well, we can hope that the dead bodies are Messiah, but we don't know that yet. Vion missed the killing because he was out on his own investigating and got drunk. Did the old man buying the drinks know that Vion was a Messiah and kept him there getting drunk while others got to those at the house? Could Vion have been made to kill them?
  8. Well, that reunion did not go as planned. The ignorance of some just can't be overcome. This behavior may have damned the whole village. When this group leaves, are their going to be many that could stand up to those taking the children? Just sad...
  9. You would like to think that among those that remain with the Messiah's there would be a good person; but that does not appear to be the case. Those that realize how horrible they are flee much like Agrell. Those that stay, are damned in a way they will never fully understand.
  10. Well, a new member for the group, and like Agrell, Ninyani does not understand his place in the world yet. A child torn asunder will make the village fear anything or anyone that is different; but perhaps if the group fights to save them, we will just have to see.
  11. Have to wonder if this group is not responsible for some of the deaths? As readers we have sympathy for the bio-shifts because of what they have suffered; but there will be evil among them as well.
  12. Will our intrepid band be able to stop the creature taking the children? What is causing the fire well to the north?
  13. Did these Messiah not know what happened before? Do they not understand the death their kind has wrought? Did they think their past actions had no consequences? Instead of accepting what has happened and working to understand the past and fix the future; they will just make things worse.
  14. Bulog brought about his death and it appears the death of others by fearing the future instead of allowing those around him to prepare for it.

Oh Hell to the No... First Seth ends up really torn up; and now afraid to leave his house. Trevor locates the wolf shifter involved; and isn't that one of the primary no no's in the packs? Never go after a human as it draws too much attention to the pack. Let's hope the idiot decides to cooperate, and turn against his so called friends. I do hope that Randy, Trevor, et al are able to help Seth get past this; or hook him up with counseling that allows him to try and move forward. But who the hell shot Thad? Was the shot silver; if so probably involving pack issues like the miserable thieves that they are tracking, if a regular shot, then may have something to do with the attack on Seth. Do hope that Thad is going to be okay, losing him would devastate Wade and the pack. The loss of their Alpha was more than most could handle; but now this... Trevor explained himself and got a few answers as well. In the end, you just have to be who you truly are meant to be. OMG, the thought of Trevor, Skylar, and Randy is just too hot to handle. We need another update; like now...

    Chapter 74

Sorry, traveling and limited access to the internet. Well, George did what he had to do. Caroline and he are for all intense and purposes over as a couple. I do believe that George will do what he can within the parameters of protecting his children to see that Caroline is okay; but how or will Caroline react to this, I think that may be a very interesting question. Granger has set up his finances to ensure that everything is covered to the extent that he can; he even planned for the chance that both he and Daventry will be gone at the same time at some point. I cannot wait for the reading of the will; I know it will be a wait, but damn, this is gonna be good. Granger has done everything he can to ensure that the King is okay with all of his situations, let's hope it is enough. I do think that both the Duke and Freddie are going to be put out somewhat, but you know, maybe they deserve to be. Truly, waiting with baited breathe....
  17. I cannot believe that Gideon was that idiotic; how could he reject Kavan like that. I know his past has made him leery, but still. Kavan is going to have to make some decisions; and he may not be happy having to do so. Aykut is interesting; and hearing his story made me sad. Why was he rejected? Don't understand those that do this. But glad that Caspian and Konstantin helped him and that he got a family of those he chose. Thrilling read; and flowed wonderfully. Can't wait for the next update.

Traveling so just got to this update; and what a hell of an update it was. Truly despise people like Cassidy, and for her to act like that and do something like that to family is just damn near unforgivable. And then her brother got the hell beaten out of him to finish the chapter. This started so promising with Trevor and Randy waking up in bed with each other but went to hell in a handbasket quickly. Her reaction on the lake gave everyone and idea but you might have played that off as sibling bs; but not this. She is obviously really insecure and needs some therapy desperately. Seth was right to be afraid, small towns often hide a deep reservoir of hate and fear of anything and anyone that is different. I loved Trevor's speech, and honestly was surprised that he managed not to turn. Thad and Wade were worried about Trevor and his reaction; well wait until Trevor figures out who the lycan was that attacked Seth. He may want to start running now. So well done, but can't wait for the next update, hope that Seth is okay and both he and Randy find that they have more support than they imagined in this small town with so many small minds.
  19. Already did... Surprised at the small number of entries on both of these compared to some of the others....

    Chapter 73

I am sure that Granger is picking those that will truly serve him the best; but he must stay vigilant. I don't see her doing so; but Caroline could discuss George sleeping with men as a way to strike at him in the upcoming battle. That said, since she is known to sleep with other men; her honor may be such that no one takes her word for it, but there have been whispers before and we don't need them flamed. Mr. Scruggs seems very interesting. I could see him capturing some of Granger's attention, but since I have no doubt that he will soon be returning to the north, it would be nothing but a dalliance. Starting to wonder exactly how much Lady Kendall was worth; dealing with her will and how it effects the family overall is developing expectations of it's own. Chapter moved the story along; and as always the writing was just first rate. Can't wait for the next update.

    Chapter 69

We really have not seen Claire much over the last several stories; so we really don't have much information on how she has morphed into what her character has become. I just find this sad. Claire was always warm in the early stories were she featured; and when the issue with JJ and his abuse came up, she was really stand up and helped deal with the situation. I just don't get how she and Jack allowed this to get this far. And I certainly don't understand how either of them have made the decision they made seemingly without even thinking about how this would effect Marie and John. Sounds like the trip to Maui is going to be bombalicious. Stef is always trying to make things easier for the younger group. This may be just what several of the younger group needs right now.

So, Trevor decided to jump the fence, so to speak. His encounter with Skyler was interesting, and like he said, maybe more about dominance than anything else. That can't be said about Randy. Can't wait to see how far this encounter goes. Trevor can hop back over that fence to Cassidy later. Loved both the early morning encounter with Skylar but even funnier was Randy realizing that he knew Wade; and his reaction to Thad was hilarious. Especially when he realized that Thad ran the company that owned the mill he works for. Just too funny. The scene in the grocery store was spot on; you could easily be surprised by how much flirting and other things that go on in a grocery store, so much suggestive material. Trevor is smart. Most forensic accounts would probably find the small stuff, but only after looking through everything big. One of the easiest ways to rip a company off is some small reoccurring payments to a nonexistent company. What a fun chapter...
  23. Monsters are real and so is evil. We do not always know what form they take or when it will appear; be vigilant. Working as a team lead them to find what they needed to survive the night, can they carry this lesson over? Really well done.

    Chapter 72

OMG, Granger was able to bed Lord Castlereagh, have seen a few paintings of him and he was seriously hot and had that passionate Irish demeanor. And he and Granger have made a date for the next encounter. George really had no choice but to move against Caroline; the fact the servants were on the verge of leaving and the fact that her actions were known by so many of the ton makes it just impossible not to act and act decisively. Once again, Granger has played the Prince of Wales perfectly. By showing their situations with their wives were so similar and that they both wanted out of that relationship, Granger was able to turn the Prince's anger to support. George is going to have to make sure that his children are protected and that Caroline has no chance of seizing them. I doubt he will prevent her from seeing them, but it will be a controlled visitation. At one time, he could have counted on the support from his Father and other members of his family, but is that support even available now? George is going to have to take a reckoning of his life, and decide who he can rely on and trust and whom he has to be wary of. His wealth and position give him options, but he still must be ready to stand against his own family if need be. Truly wonder, @Mark Arbour...

    Chapter 68

Yes, and I should have added at this time to my original comment. I have no doubt at some point in the future Will could be fully monogamous or polyamorous; but don't think he could be or wants to be at this time.
