I think sometimes it is hardest when you are still caught up in one world, even as you long to be in another. You feel the pull holding you where you are, but knowing it isn't what is meant to be. Moving forward, actually making that decision can be the hardest thing to do. But once you do, freedom.

The US handled the COVID situation horrible. It sounds as if perhaps Australia did a better job of it. Glad to see Kieran got his business up and running a little bit during this time, let's hope it carries over as the restrictions ease. Had worried about Charlie, those in service positions like his had such a high risk of infection because they dealt with so many more people. Thank god, no rabbit died, and Ruth had just moved on, but then so has Kevin. Toby is in love, ah, the joy of young love. And Patrick is here, can't wait to see how he can sprinkle some sparkle around.

Graeme was able to work himself free, and in a way, so did Sam, the ash, allowed him to speak the truth. I wonder if their description of the woman will be enough for someone to know her, of course, tying her to that particular factory, might be enough but we will see. Can Sam resist the pull of the ash?

So, Frank was a surprise to the Sapphires, but not to me. While I adore Frank, no food can be too spicy, he would just have to learn to deal with it. This visit went better than I would have ever expected. And I could honestly see a few more in the future. We need some filler in the next chapter, not sure about the phone call or text, but felt that I was totally lost for a moment. Just wonderful. -

A lovely chapter, Neil finally makes a move, and it turns out they both enjoyed it. Where will it go, who knows at this point. Has Neil truly never been attracted to a man before? I guess it happens, but seems to me that late 20's is a little late for a true first attraction. Can't wait to see what happens next with these two.

Forget your 40's, wait till your 60's, you don't have to worry about an alarm, because you never sleep and if you do set a reminder, you can't remember what the reminder was for. LOL As always, thanks for the look back at the week.

Well, I do wish that Kevin had talked to Ruth, really afraid the rabbit died. I am so impressed with how Kieran and Charlie both handled the situation with Toby. Being sixteen is hard enough without being different at all. Kids and well, really the whole world can be so vicious towards anyone that they perceive as different. Seems to me, from what I can remember, Australia was not hit as hard as some by Covid. Let's hope that everyone in our groups stay safe and end up being okay.

Well, if he has been the top surfer for as long as this seems to indicate, he should be set for life, unless he was unwise. That should give him the freedom to do something that appeals to him the way surfing did for so long. Can't quite get a read on Bruce Buck, but the way he is able to pull Johnny along for the night says something about his gravitational pull.

More than a friendship?

I actually got to see the Met production of Werther with Jonas Kaufmann and Sophie Koch. Simply smashing, although I did have a few issues with Kaufmann playing the role, but damn was he good. I can't wait to see how this story idea develops. But more interesting to me, is Neil's slow spread into Alex's life. I even think the fact that Neil is so reticent to discuss certain areas of his life is drawing Alex in a little more. I just love Lila. Can't wait for the next update. -
A few questions answered, but more to come. Who is behind the rogues? Is it because there is no Alpha designate? How big is the pack here on the island? Were the rogues just that, hired guns, or were they all from a pack or area? I am starting to think that Austin and Aaron might be more alike than anyone realized. Has anyone else realized the heat between Austin and Xavier? Oh, just so much going on.

Travis had done such an amazing job of recovery from the debacle of the gift; but then in a moment his insecurity got the best of him. I worry that when the pressure mounts, and it will because he will just get hotter and bigger as he gets more exposure; that he won't be able to handle it without back up, but being on opposite coasts means that Will won't be near enough to tell when he is sinking. Will needs to do a better job of listening to how Travis is talking rather than what is necessarily being said. Excellent chapter, but I see choppy seas ahead.

Let's hope a couple of truly honest conversation can be had and some truths spoken and some feelings repaired. Some need to be able to start to heal from occurrences in the past, and work towards a way to move forward.

A truly well written story about one of the most pivotal times in English history. The time following the writing and signing of the Magna Carta had immense ramifications for all of history to this point. The characters were well done, and you immediately felt a kinship with them, they drew you in immediately. The author was able to convey the feelings and turmoil they were going through during this time. The descriptive nature of the writing was wonderful. You could feel the cold and muck, the heat and sweat, and all manners of natural things as well as the way the natural order effected the characters. Any fan of history will especially enjoy this; but honestly any fan of good writing and storytelling will as well.

Did the rabbit die? Kevin is just coming to realize that he has more around him that he can depend on than he thought. Kieran and Charlie will both be there for him and help him with anything they can. No one can rush Kevin, you have to make these decisions on your own. Can't wait to see what happens next.

An interesting story, and well written as well. A story of honor and staying true to your pledge. A look back a time of war, death, famine, and how a whole country's direction could change on the actions of a few.

Now these are the kind of friends to have; they help you move. Charlie really just not into moving or something else going on? I really like Lila and Maudie seems like someone I would love to be around. Can't wait to see how this progresses. -
As always, thanks for the look back at the week. Upper 70's or lower 80's today in Central Texas, some rain this past week, so everything is green. Of course, hot and dry will be here soon, so enjoying the weekend here.

What a wonderful chapter, it is so nice when family can finally get over their attitudes and just be family. I for one cannot wait to see Trinity de La Creme in all their glory performing for family in a setting like that. And I am quite sure that Pop is right, none of them might believe what he has seen in the navy. LOL, why do I hear the Village People in my head. Pippa is the architect of this and loving every minute of it. Kevin suddenly realizes that the world is bigger than he suspected and his choices might be greater than he suspected. Kieran and Charlie are truly settling into their new life, and so much more.
